    Is there any chance of this collection being released in CD format? I would love to buy this but I don't have a record player and nor do I plan on getting one.

    I love Meshuggah, but I already have all these on disc. I'd like the book and blu-ray though, any chance of a solo release on that?

    I literally check your guys Facebook, Twitter, website, and RUclips every day hoping for single/album artwork/release date for the new album. I'm getting close to buying a ticket to Umea and cornering one of you for an answer

    If this was on CD, I'd really consider buying it. Not on vinyl, though. The artwork shines lots more with the size of vinyl, but in this kind of format, much can be done for a Deluxe box such as this if released in CD format.
    I'm a 39 yo music geek that started listening on vinyl in my father's hi-end sound system, and when CD came along in the 80s, and vinyl was the "normal" format, I embraced CDs for the sheer audio quality, clarity and noise-free playing. Never looked back. Now I own a tube amplifier and a CD player, I won't buy a turntable anytime soon so apart from the collectors value I can't justify the cost.
    The set looks gorgeus though.

    I've been waiting a long time for Meshuggah vinyl (that wasn't insanely expensive). I couldn't have bought this any quicker if I tried. Most money I've ever spent on vinyl :S Worth it though. Favourite band in the world.

      El Acido I can't find work, so money is little tight at the moment. And a good record player in the UK is just really expensive. I've seen so many vlogs of brits in America and I would love to come with a fistful of dollars and just get everything cheap :)

      You can find a surprisingly good turntable for less than £30. Gumtree + eBay, second hand shops and car boot sales.

    Why nowadays every special music-box, limited version or the likes comes in vinyl? Why assume we are all hipster? Why push people to buy a format they don't need? And more importantly, why try so hard to convince people that vinyl is great? I'm a 41 year old fart, that is old enough to know how useless vinyls are.

    • @iopklmification

      The point was: if you have mp3s, WHY THE FUCK are you still using vinyls ?

    • @frankbrazil7918
      @frankbrazil7918 8 лет назад +1

      ahhh fuck your gonna upset all the vinyl hipsters now. im with you. vinyls useless unless your some nerdy collector. cds offer superior sound quality and are much more practical. i dont even really care about sound quality that much anymore anyway. im 41 also and im sure my hearing isnt as good as it used to be. itunes is fine.

    • @Thejgomez
      @Thejgomez 8 лет назад

      Gigerian I disagree with you 100% and I'm not calling you hipster (yet), vinyl has lots of things which can make it more appealing and that's why is a trend, now sound is definitely not one of them, where dynamic range is probably the most important reason for that, the other is that masters have to be re-mastered for a "vinyl production" because the format just can't reproduce all the frequencies, so you can say that you think that vinyl sounds more appealing to you, therefore you can say that sounds better to you, but don't say that vinyl is a better format over CD, simply because is not the best representation of the master, which means is not a good translation of the music, and that's the whole idea, isn't it?

    • @frankbrazil7918

      +Gigerian are you fucking kidding me 😂 i supposed you think tube tvs are better than 4K

      pressings are mostly done in batches of 250 / 500 / 1000 / 1500 and so on. plus there are plenty of limited pressings of maybe 250 and still available from meshuggah and other groups / bands. but gladly we get re-masters with the old covers too. maybe they will do a 50 years anniversary box.

      @@Underp4ntz_Gaming_Channel yeah i dont even remember making this comment 6yrs ago but i know for fact i had no idea the behind the scenes stuff about batch pressings and things like that. anyhow i still love the band so guess thats the important thing lol take care! 🙂
