Great videos 😊 You are definitely getting more comfortable on camera! I did a tasting with George Grant (His family owns Glenfarclas). It was so fun! We were supposed to do the 105, but there was a last minute substitution to one of the Family Casks instead. George really doesn't like peated whisky at all! He was making digs all night at Islay 😉 A couple of the guys at the tasting kept egging him on. I'm curious about the age on the 105...I know I often get "smokey" notes in unpeated whisky if it's older...more old oak flavours which taste similar to peat. Side note... On really high proof whiskies (60% 😲), I find it helps me if I let it breath in the glass for a few minutes before going in for my nosing...allowing the alcohol vapours to dissipate slightly so it's less intense and a little more accessible before adding water ☺
This is also the strongest whisky I've ever tried. Definitely needs water I feel. Good stuff. I recommend trying the aged expressions the 15, 17 or 18.

Nice to hear your thoughts. Have you had a lot from Glenfarclas? Something put me off in their 15, but I do love stronger whisky.
It is actually the only glenfarclas I had so far, but I will definitely get something else from them in the future
