- Sung at the Simcoe, Ontario Chapter show afterglow on Nov 7, 2014. Coincidentally this was their last stop on a North American tour. They are now returning to Sweden. What a performance!!

They’re phenomenal. It’s easy to see why they eventually won international. I like to see their ‘ rough edges before they got great!!!

Damn, I'd just decided (after seeing numerous examples) that this song never works in barbershop style. Rangy and the melody never comes through clearly. Now I have to change my mind. The shaping and phrasing just exquisite.

It's what's on the page that can be the problem in this case. The lead goes on and under the bass, and the parts are all over each other. Ringmasters have removed some of the superfluities, and Emanuel sings with perfect balance so the baritone part doesn't muddy. (I think they give him some of the melody parts as well.) Then the song needs to be emotionally moving without being milked, and their timing and build to a climax do this just right. Credit to the musicians here for their planning and performance - I love them.
