Hello!! Ah you're so kind, and really appreciate seeing positive messages like this. Had to take some time out and rediscover the drive. Glad to say I'm back with a vengeance and new videos are being uploaded. Lots of exciting content coming soon so do keep a look out!
Hey! Thanks for the support! Sorry it's taken me so long to get my bottom into gear, but the mojo is back and new videos ae now being uploaded. Currently reviewing the Garmin Descent Mk3i, so keep an eye out for that landing very soon!
Hi Lorenzo - thanks for the message! I was back in Egypt last week diving with the Teric and the Mk2i, and will be starting the recording this week! Not long now!!
Great to see you back! After a very long time out of the water, we’re gearing up for diving in 2022. Looking forward to any and all reviews you can pass on. Very interested in the mask mount for the Paralenz camera - seems to be a great choice.
Thanks for the supportive comment - felt so good to be back doing what I loved! I'll cover the mask mount for the Paralenz in some detail - really very comfortable to wear, although you really do need a regulator exhaust that dispels air from one side only as the bubbles did rock the camera some what. Will 100% cover all of that..!
Welcome back! Looking forward to your thoughts now on the Garmin Descent Mk2i and transmitter. I now have about 230 dives on the watch, and nearly as many on the transmitter. Absolutely no complaints about the watch, continuing to use it as my everyday smart watch and primary dive computer. Am beginning to think I may have a transmitter problem; even replacing batteries more frequently, I’m seeing more frequent loss of connection with the watch, sometimes three and four times in a single dive. It usually regains contact and continues on, but shouldn’t be seeing loss of contact on every dive. Never had this problem with either Suunto D6i or Shearwater Teric. Will be interested if anyone else is seeing similar problems.
Thanks Buddy - really good to be back too! I had exactly the same problem too, but will cover it in detail in the video. Trying to find out from Garmin if there are any known issues... Weirdly I also had the same issue at times with the Teric but not as prolific.
Thanks Paul - appreciate that comment, really do! You know what - I knew it was a Canon G7X, I mean I used it solidly for years. It was just one of those situations that every time I said the word ‘Canon’ in my head it sounded wrong and started to doubt my own sanity! 😂
Hello!!!! I'm back, as in ACTUALLY back! Had to take a bit of time away, and rediscover the mojo, but recently uploaded a couple of new videos and have plenty more in the plans over the next few weeks so keep an eye out. Sorry for the delay...
Great update Rich, love following and hearing the updates. Keep it up, Top Man 👍 Take care
