These are the greatest true stories ever told. Stories from the natural world are above the affairs of men. God bless you man for gracing us with these audiobooks.
When the eyes are too sleepy to focus on the written word, I turn to my favorite bedtime story channel to help drift me into sleep. So thankful for these nature adventure stories!
The effort you undertake to not only preserve, but pass on the stories of the legends who wrote the books you read, firmly seats you alongside them in my mind. Stories of strength, courage, perseverance. It is by simple men these traits are held, by men who hunt man eaters, or men who preserve their stories and memories. Bless you sir
@@selvalore You are a story teller of great skill...are you considering putting some of these stories as podcasts? That will be great, then I can listen while I am stuck in traffic for 2 hours
I read this a month ago...my wish is The temple tiger now, hope Mr Singh does that next 🤞. But listening to this definitely will add another dimension to what I have perceived.
I'm in Virginia USA A FRIEND CALLED ME YESTERDAY She heard a news article about a lady that was sitting watching TV Minding her own business recently She felt something watching her and there was a black panther looking in her window at her Said they can't walk outside. Let pets out Let's children play Through history here in these mountains several people have seen them. Also some folks got pictures Of course the cou ty said oh that's a house cat No house cat is as big as a dang cougar My brother was upset one night Him and his girlfriend was up in Callaway and a black panther ran across the road in front of them He said it had the longest tail What he was upset about is he walked those roads as a boy. They are out there
Imagination is more powerful than reality. Though I have spent a large part of my childhood in village for months at a time and a place that would regularly be visited by jungle cats. Every year there would be three or four goats/sheep picked from the village and once even an infant from the next door, by a black 'bagharra'. I was never afraid to be there, but when I listening to your stories, they are hair-raising. So good are your book readings. Much appreciated Mr. Singh. Really entertaining.
I feel when it happens in real life we go into some kind of shock. It's like ok But to hear it written and hear the lives old the old days it does seem to be more frightning
Wonderful. Another gripping tale, told by that peerless narrator Mr AV Singh. On a dark day for me this is all I could have hoped for to lift my spirits. What a gift. Thank you.
Hey Paul, thanks for a touching remark. I hope you get through whatever life has been throwing at you lately. If you've noticed, I have increased my upload frequency in the last 2 months. I kinda went through a rough patch myself, and I have been using these narrations as a coping mechanism myself. Good luck and stay strong man!
Thank you for another wonderful reading of an amazing story. When my day is troubled, your readings allow me to escape and melt into another world long past, and I very much thank you for that. Regards, Chris
It's difficult not to lose oneself in the soothing voice and the relaxing narration. Like entering into an immersive trance state with these escapist nature lores.
Wow!! What a superb story beautifully rendered as always Mr Viraj Singh...I find your rendering of the stories so soothing and yet the edge of the seat effect is awesome... Getting transported to a different world of natural beauty and adventure is keeping the boy alive in me...
Wow! What a pleasure (& privelege) to listen to such masterful story telling, an art which is pretty much lost in the post-television & multi-media age that we live in. The art of the narrative was well known to Kenneth Anderson & some of his contemporaries...& for that we are grateful! Moreover, cheers to Monsieur Singh for delivering such an artful & listenable presentation of this very special tale.
I just saw a beautiful image of the now famous resident black panther taken by a photographer in the kabini forest of India. Its truly a magnificent animal. I can see why Anderson felt the need to bag this animal back in the day when trophy hunting was huge.
Big fan of your channel, I love to hear proper pronunciations of the towns/villages, the people, culture of the area. Helps get a good visual of the area. Listened to each story multiple times and never gets old. Keep it up.
Congratulations on a well-put together audiostory yet again. Kenneth Anderson's jungle tales are always enjoyable. This one maybe lacked a little in intrigue.
I had some errands to run when I first saw that your video is uploaded. My wife knew my plans and my schedule for the day and we were going to meet up around lunch time. When I told her I couldn't because I was running a little behind she asked why because I didn't have a very big work load today. She wasn't mad, but she wasn't overly happy. When I told her I had to pull over and listen to your story she was fine with it tho
Does anyone out there, anywhere at all, TRUTHFULLY, think they could do all the things Kenneth Anderson has done? Aside from my MARSOC Sniper cousin, I don't think I've met anyone who ever had a chance at being able to do that. What a badass
Thankyou for introducing me to Kenneth Anderson, Apratim.Despite living in Bangalore, I was unaware of this amazing author and his stories about the jungle. I m eagerly waiting for your new video🌺👏Keep up the good work. I use Spotify more than RUclips so looking forward to hear your postcast in Spotify too.
Thanks for Chapter 4 from the Book of the same Title. KA' count of 273 barbs confirms modern findings about Bees most attacked color being black. This panter evidently had less hair for protection than would a Black Bear. A hypothetical question for any viewer who might be tempted into such calculations. Had the herdsman deposited the 50 Rupees in some account bearing a fixed interest in 1934, and never touched, what would his descendants see that balance now?☺
That's an astute observation. I would be interested to know myself. The power of compounding is real so they'd have been better off than the herdsman i'm sure. Thanks for commenting!
I was out the other night and heard this very deep growling and I'm sure it was a big cat, it was as if we disturbed it or it was warning us, my dad and I, it was quite scary and we are in Scotland, I'm a sceptical kind of guy but this was surreal 😂 seriously I'm like troubled by it.

Although your jungle stories are incredibly narrated, lI find Anderson's character a little lacking in comparison with the great heart, compassion, unbelievable endurance and selflessness of Corbett. I tend to now avoid Anderson's stories but still marvel at your personal presentation.
