Apratim, I was taken by a surprise when I received a RUclips notification for your new upload on your channel, just two weeks after your last one. Hearing stories from Bangalore, especially in your calming voice, is truly heartwarming. Your stories have seamlessly woven into my nightly routine before bedtime, and I'm fully aware of the commitment it takes to craft such content. I want to express my gratitude to you, Apratim, for your incredible work and the myriad ways in which you've helped people. Keep up the remarkable work 💚💐🌺
Thank you for awakening my inner child. I listened to this on my drive to the woods to hunt deer. But walking around the timber holding my rifle I pretended to be on the track of a man eater . Your re telling of these stories spread joy to the world. Thank you
I just stumbled upon your channel about a week ago and discovered to my pleasant surprise that not only had men like Corbett and Anderson written down detailed accounts of many of their notable hunts, but that someone had gone to the trouble of narrating them and posting them here. I appreciate it very much, thank you.
You have a very calming voice. The time and energy you have spent on each and every story is amazing. I feel very fortunate to have found found your channel. Thank you!
I appreciate you saying that, Keith! I have loved such stories since I was a kid and I'm glad to see there's still a niche audience for these outdoor adventures.
Listening with my morning cup of coffee not too far from the Sierra Nevada mountains in California. You delivered big time with this Kenneth Anderson tale. Thank you!!
I heard this story before But since it popped up again on my RUclips Am listening again 😂. Always intrigued by these stories and a well narrated one, make the experience even better !!! Thanks 😊
Great to hear from you again and thanks for the feedback! Still getting better at it but investing in better equipment has made a big difference as well.
Amazing narration. I saw the video within minutes of it being posted, but waited till I had the time to savour it. Thank you for the wonderful readings.
My fiancé has listened to every single one of these videos to help him sleep. They've become and important part of our night. Thankyou ! Please say hello to him his name is Christian if you can!
This is lovely! Thank you for letting me know. Wishing Christian many more hours of peaceful sleep! Truth be told this is why I started reading these stories in the first place. I needed to listen to something peaceful from the natural world to help tune out from this mad, crazy world we live in. To help me sleep better, I started reading them myself. Happy to see they are helping others out there too.
@@Sabaism No I have not been able to. It is a magical place to visit, especially if you manage to spend a night or two at Dhikala (Forest bungalow) which is inside the National Park itself and you can hear Tigers calling in the night. Sadly, its been a little overcrowded in recent years as other popular National Parks here in the states so do your research before going.
What a great story. And what a heart warming father and son tale. And of course brought to a new level by the superb narration of our host Mr A V Singh. Thank you once again.
My dear friend, you have a new subscriber. LOVE your stories. I listen to your stories while I'm in bed. If I miss out mid-way, I listen to the whole thing once I'm up.
Wonderful story and the first I have heard from Kenneth Anderson where his son is his companion. Possibly just as well that his son was with him on this hunt as the story may never have been written...
Love the sound effects! Another great recording! Lest one think that these stories only belong to the past, an average of 50 people per year are killed by tigers in India. 🇺🇸 🐅 🇮🇳
Mr Singh, I noticed this video come up a couple of days ago and couldn’t wait to get into it! Well done to you sir and thank you for your marvellous work.
Stories like these bring out the magic of Indian wildlife. Thank you so much. Can you also please upload the audio of "The Black Rogue of Moyar Valley" adventure from Kenneth Anderson's book "The Call of the Man-Eater"? It was an incredible story where Anderson escaped with the skin of his teeth (especially when playing catch-me-if-you-can on the rock with the elephant). It was also fascinating how - the Indian Rogue Elephant - goes out of it's way to silently "stalk" it's human victims, almost like a predator. Thanks a lot.
This was riveting, nice and long, and narrated by an actual human! You, Sir, have just gotten yourself a sub. I suspect that you will be getting quite a few more 👏👏👏
Man i cant describe the suspense of waiting for a new video and the excitement when we finally get a new one. Also i have a reccomendation called the Njombe Lions which i read and is worthwhile if you wanted to ever look into it👍
I keep my subscription for the love of the “Man Eating Leopard 🐆 of Rudrapratag.” I have great admiration and respect for Corbett but I have none for Anderson. I’d wish the Tiger 🐅 had gotten him and his rabble!
At the beginning he talks about a family of tigers that he knew the whole story of in one of them ended up becoming a man-eater. He said it's related in a different story. Do you know which story he's referring to?
Next time you're at that place, or near it, been down and pat the ground for me please. I'm in Oklahoma, U.S.A. It's about a six DAY drive for me, assuming I figure a way to make it across the Pacific. Basically what I'm saying is I really have no hope to ever see that place in my life. Please tell it hello for me
Kenneth Sir must be jubilant at his prodigy, if only hhe had known what sad fate Don had in store. . We as Indians feel guilty of not giving proper tribute to KDS' memory and for loneliness of his son Don in old age. At least a few of my Bengaluru brethren found him and accompanied Don in his last days. He and his family were true Indians - as much as any of my ancestors are.
@52:00 I often wonder about Man eating animals after they eat a victim with a blood-borne disease like leprosy how their body rejects the poisonous blood. I have to imagine a tiger will actually get violently ill afterward, as leprosy is no joke.
Thats a great point! You might be on to something here. I would love to know the answer to that although I'd imagine a big cat's immune system would be strong enough to thwart off something like that.
I won the jackpot tonight, a nice long story! Thank you!
Wow another amazing piece of work. Thank you brother for all your hard work.
