Love this video and the message you provide. I spend way too much time thinking and caring about what others think and it eventually sways me. I have to constantly remind myself the reason why I choose to go back to school and study computer science and that is for my own financial/job security down the road, plain and simple.
Hey! Really pleased you found this video helpful. And yes 100%, reminding yourself of the why is soooo important. Not everyone will get your decisions and they don’t have to. As long as you are staying in your lane and are doing what you believe is right for you and your future that’s all that matters. All the best with the rest of the course!
Omg another British babe (I presume)! Speaking on what I'm like and what I need right now. Please don't downplay your successes/qualifications you WORKED for that 💕
Thank you! I’m a black girl aiming to go to graduate school but I need to work FT and study for my entrance exam :) it’s doable and everything you said was on point. Another thing id add is to have a Plan B in the event things don’t turn out the way you planned it too. Great video thank you :)
Luckily in Finland this is a lot easier to study even without working. You can get good study grant, housing benefit and a mounthly studentloan that is basicly free money due to there being such a low loan rate in studentloands and the government paying a bit of the loan back if you graduate almost in time.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. My entire channel is dedicated on part-time study as I think it's important to give back to the community. Plus, information is scarce on the topic - relative to full-time programmes. Let's keep on building content for future students. All the best!
I really appreciated this video! I'm starting a masters' full time and will be working full time
