No problem! The alliteration in 'knock-kneed' helps create the scene for the reader, as it appeals to our sense of hearing and, coupled with the imagery used, it gives us a sense of the moment. Also, the alliteration is used to emphasise the shaky and tired nature of the soldiers, as it suggests their knees knocking together as they walk. Hope this helps!
Great video exploring a brutally frank and hard-hitting poem. I really enjoyed the way you explored the powerlessness of the simile of the beggars. One thing to add is that the alliteration of 'knock-kneed' is such not because the words begin with the same letter (k, as you've highlighted). They're alliteration because they begin with the same sound (n - written as 'kn' in this instance). So 'gnomes need knives mnemonic' is all alliteration. Whereas 'physical pandas psoriasis pterodactyl' isn't. (ps. neither of these make much sense as phrases, admittedly).
I think you missed that the definite article 'the' was a metaphor for the destruction of the city, which resulted in him learning the structure of the atom. this has the effect of making us feel empathy for his granddaughter who scraped her knee. -English logic
How do you respond to "every text reflects its context. To what extent do you agree with this statement." That's is my essay question and i have to refer it to wilfred owen's poepms, dulce et decorum est and anthem for doomed youth. What am i supposed to write this essay about????

coughing isnt an onomatopoeia right? onomatopoeia is the actual sound theyre making
The best way to destroy poetry is to 'analyse' it.
what the hell are you supposed to do for an exam then
dennis richards sadly schools like to test a students ability to analysis a poem instead of just enjoying it.
