You don't actually need to group the enemies as the AOE explosion from Sow isn't what is dealing the bulk of the damage against enemies with armor and/or shields.
When triggering Sow with Reap, there are actually 2 instances of damage happening at once.
1. The "Sown" enemy takes True Damage equal to 25% of their Max HP.
This damage can be increased by both the Damage Vulnerability De-buff from Reap AND Viral Status Effect.
2. An AOE explosion of Blast Damage deals damage equal to 25% of the "Sown" enemy to every enemy within that 4m radius EXCEPT the "Sown" enemy that explosion came from.
This damage is affected by sources of damage reduction such as an enemies Armor, Shields or Global Damage Reduction on enemies such as Acolytes, Archons and Necramechs.
You can most easily see this happening in the Simulacrum by grouping just 2 enemies together and doing the usual Sow + Reap Combo:
Armored enemies like Grineer will lose just barely more than 25% of their health as they suffered the True Damage but the explosion from the other enemy barely affected them.
Unarmored enemies like Infested or Stripped Enemies will lose substantially more than 25% of their health as they suffer both the True Damage and the damage from the explosion unmitigated.
You can actually one-shot ANY enemy in the game that doesn't have natural DR like Acolytes by casting Reap TWICE after the initial Sow assuming you get the enemies "Damage Vulnerability" to 400% which is easier than it sounds.
If you get 100% Damage Vulnerability from Reap which is achieved with just 200% ability strength and apply 1 stack of Viral to an enemy, the 2x damage from Reap stacks multiplicatively with the 2x damage from Viral leading to 4x total damage and that 25% HP True Damage becomes 100% True Damage. 2 x (25 x 2) = 100% Max HP Damage Taken
You can also do this with less ability strength, but it will require more stacks of Viral to offset the lower Damage Vulnerability. e.g. 50% Damage Vulnerability from base strength Reap (1.5x) will need 3 stacks of Viral (2.75x) to One-shot. 2.75 x (25 x 1.5) = 103% Max HP Damage Taken
TLDR: Apply Viral to enemies you wanna kill then cast Sow > Reap > Reap and everything will die without grouping.

@@hsmorg3640 My personal build for Sevagoth isn't designed to optimize his Nuke, I've got him built as a Health Tank and save the Reap/Sow combo for killing mini-bosses like Thrax and Demolishers.
It can still one-shot any enemy that doesn't have DR (like Acolytes, Demolishers & Nechramechs) but you'll need to apply at least 3 stacks of Viral first, a trivial task for most loadouts.

- Adaptation
- Hunter Adrenaline
- Shadow Haze
Archon Shards:
5 Azure for Health or 5 Topaz for Health if you're running a Blast Weapon.
Subsume:
Eclipse over 4th Ability.
Assuming you're using base shards and Adaptation is stacked up to 70% it'll take 110,460 damage to die to a one-shot, anything less than a one-shot can be pretty much ignored because of the Life-steal from Gloom as long as you're dealing damage to enemies.
Hunter Adrenaline provides the energy you need but it will be less effective in lower level missions as enemies will deal less damage and as a result you'll generate less energy.
My playstyle is use my weapons for regular enemies and for bigger enemies, apply 3+ stacks of Viral, Cast 2 + 1 + 1 and they'll instantly die.
If you want more damage, swap Overextended for Stretch. Less AOE but you only need 1 stack of Viral to kill now and you get a bigger bonus from Shadow Haze.
If enemies feel like they're getting dangerous, activate the DR from Eclipse.
Assuming there aren't any modifiers that will gimp the build, this setup can breeze through Elite Deep Archimedea.

I’m so happy to see another Sevagoth video! I’m not big on going beyond base Steel Path, I don’t have much time to play so fitting a handful of missions in a session can be challenging, and while my build isn’t the same I have been enjoying the mini-nuke build I managed to find for myself through trial and error. Seeing more videos of my main man Sevagoth is awesome and I’ve got new ideas to try now!
Dope video knightmare, thanks for giving Sevy the attention he deserves. Everyone clutches so much on gloom they ignore his other strengths. I hope DE works on his 4 because it needs some love

Interesting... I wonder if this could be applied to qorvex to some extent. Pull them into a pillar press 4. "kabloom" You could even potentially smack them with rakta for survivability as they explode. Although honestly you might *not need* the shards since his explosions seem to last until they die anyway?
i mean, there are a lot of builds of Qorvex nuking based on grouping and his 4th

It’s nice to see Sevagoth get some love! I’ve been maining him for a while now. I personally run pillage over his 4 with precision intensify, transient fortitude, and blind rage for a max strip before kablooms. Any mission with steel path enemy densities can’t really survive, and then you get to ignore grouping abilities in favor of glooms CC. And anything outside the range of the explosions gets tagged with the bonus shadows from his augment. One of my favorite builds I’ve put together so far
Hey, kmf, can you make a viral tempest build? It's honestly perfect for him, u get viral and corrosive, meaning full strips, PLUS hp debuffing, plus the multiplicative corosive dmg shards. U can use cordon as ur grouping since its always up, and it synergizes well with what sevagoth needs, especially at high efficiency and range and low duration, since u can multicast it pretty quickly while running madurai. It also eliminates the need to prime enemies with ur weapon, making it the perfect casting frame set up. Weapons are literally unneeded. I haven't seen any popular youtubers cover viral tempest sevagoth yet, strangely enough. Love the content. Keep it up!

Played with sevagoth this way like for 2-3 years.... Gloom is his weakest ability) It was a matter of time when people see how it works and read the description of his abilities🎉
Meh I think everyone realized the converse situation: Gloom is better on everyone else.

But!, I agree. Similar to the eclipse nerf/buff I've noticed more players actually using mirage as a warframe then just for her helminth. Bitter sweet as the unique helmnith is gone but also that she has regained some popularity. Finding balance with the helminth system on strong abilities can be tough.

Hey Knightmare think you could revisit the sibear? I know i know its probably a bit weak but lately with melee influence and the new hammer slam flavor of the month. Maybe it could give decent fun result. It does have absurd status chance and crit with incarnon. Blast cold zone that lingers for 4 second on heavy slam and you get some initial combo shenanigans with it too. Lets get cookin'

I usually disagree on Gloom going at all, but for real, you might as well. A lot of grouping abilities hate slows and if you want to group and clear faster, you don't want any slow at all really. Plus, a quick shadow forme transformation after grouping can be pretty dope (but investing in Shadow also sucks 😂). I love Sevagoth, but I wish he was above that middle-of-the-road tier.

Try running negative duration on him. It pretty much solves all of his problems. I run transient fortitude and it gives the 2 a 7ish second timer, I’d still prefer it be recastable but it makes it slightly more bearable lol

think you should revisit your Inaros setup after this one again.. .. w/ heck of alot of duration.. Cast his 4 on a group of and you use sandstorm to Stripe groups as you spin around.

He's still lacking in the survivability department IMO. He's great for dealing with enemies under lvl.150. His shadow/passive is also incredibly squishy and unreliable.
I survived in disruption to LVL cap on steel path vs Grineer, corpus and infested without dying even once with no helminth ability, my weapons do enough damage to kill anything and if U know how to switch between sevagoth and his shadow it's almost impossible to die, plus shield gatting, Rolling guard and if I need more my sentinel can always spread viral radiation and heat so enemies are always slow and confused

May I ask why not remove his 4 for pull? Gloom is still somewhat valuable because of health regeneration. You don’t have to keep it active. Just when you are running low on health, pop gloom, kill, then deactivate.
You won’t need health regen with this as pull will pull in health with the augment
You could, but you'd have to carry a raw damage/crit weapon on you, and with 13% duration, it would obliterate your energy pool. You also have greedy pull, so you should be getting health orbs constantly. This whole video is just a showcase of a pull/sow/reap nuke combo. You can adjust it however you want for your own playstyle, such as rewiring it for shieldgating to go endless, or use gloom for the occasional vamp in sub-endless.

Not all players who do intesting builds share them on the internet, content creator just saw some random player using sevagoth this way and then created a video. I just hope DE will not change the formula of his abilities, cause its sick, i one shotted traxes and angels on void cascade on 9999 with his 2+1, btw it was yesterday. Got a little sad, when i saw this video, it is the way i played sevagoth for 2 years and now it may be fixed because youtuber wanted to hype on it

What I can't understand is why you don't always use that dog you recommended in poor Korra.It's a robot dog that can Rain on all enemies and uses Batoten. Everything would be much simpler if you always recommended the same dog in builds.Specifically in any build that uses archon strech

This game is unplayable on controller I feel sorry for anyone who has to play it. I play Xbox and use a keyboard and mouse WF has very good kbm integration on console.
@@weednose6030 funny enough it is playable on controller, as i use a controller on pc. as a console gamer pretty much all my life its not that big of an issue. more of pressing imputs way too fast wont happen.
i did try keyboard and mouse but the controls for abilities are too ... impossible to reach comfortably. i have to stop moving completely or dodging or crouching to press 1 2 3 or 4

That's how I play my Wrathful Advance nezha hit damage cap with Innodem I have vids on my youtube but I have my Alternate Fire on my grim to be used as a primer then the chakram to make the enemies vulnerable to all damage then I cast spears, Wrathful Advance and that's all she wrote, not to mention that instead of 2 Tau yellow and 3 Tau blue I went with primed flow and 3 Tau Violet since Wrathful Advance is a melee move and does critical damage I want to try this build wit Hate but dont have it yet

Lost me at priming. Esp since stronger setups dont have to prime. I mean, great work on this however, a inventive build. But for me, and I speak for no one else, priming is lame and takes time id rather spend killing.

No not even close to being nerfed.He's been doing stuff like this and I don't see why everybody has to comment a build getting nerf because it's doing something You haven't seen it do before. Most people only want to play the meta stuff most people don't want to play anything that's hard to get or have a lower usage count and it goes around unused for a long time but as soon as a RUclipsr wants to put it out there and now you're wanting to agree that it's a great weapon a great build out the blue when it's been like that You say it's going to get nerfed... What about Octavia she's the most busted Warframe in the game It has been for years no one talks about her getting nerfed and there's always a video about how busted or overpowered she is

Most of these videos we see of older weapons or warframes with these synergies and build that's are busted or really good have been going on for months or years In a (few cases) and no one say anything about it because it's not the meta but just because somebody put a highlight on it for a video doesn't mean it's going to get nerfed. I mean again the strongest Warframe in the game is Octavia because she does everything so easily. she can cruise to level cap but she's not getting nerfed and she's been like that for years.

I think if NF made a video talking about a build for them, it would call attention to their strength and lead to a nerf, but not necessarily. It's more just a joke that the devs don't nerf/buff based on actual gameplay, but perceived gameplay from outlier use cases

the damage turns into explosive, but the enemies still die, without armor strip

i hate builds that totally destroy the Warframe Game play and made it to something else completely.

cute comment, any frame with energized munitions and an AoE weapon will clear faster than your torid, a mirage with her 4 will clear faster than your torid, a mesa will clear faster than your torid, you need to charge incarnon before even starting to DPS, theres a lot of downtime there. maybe think before trying to be snarky.

And I can wipe a whole room with a sampotes and a single slam attack before you can earn a single charge on your torid and instantly dump it killing maybe 10 things, because beam weapons require mobs to be near each other.
