Johnson Sauk Trail State Recreation Area

We had a great Autumn camping trip to Johnson Sauk Trail State Recreation Area near Kewanee, IL. The campground, lake and hiking trails were bursting with fall colors and we highly recommend this destination. We haven't taken a tour of Ryan's Round Barn yet, but hope to this Spring. The stop at Paxton's Corner Coop on our way home is ALWAYS mandatory. Their cupcakes, cinnamon rolls & pumpkin bars are THE BEST in Illinois!
