- Our Channelview High School JROTC Falcon Battalion Color Guard performed an exceptional presentation of the colors on the largest rivalry in the football season. October 9, 2015. North Shore Wins.
Thank you so much for posting this! I am a Civil Air Patrol Cadet Technical Sergeant who will be presenting the Colors with my detail at a game not unlike the one shown here. It helps immensely to see such an outstanding example as this as we prepare for the event and practice our form. Keep up the hard work Channelview JROTC, and HOOAH from your brothers and sisters in the C.A.P!
I know this was posted 6 years ago however I’m seeing it now and feel the need to ask why you guys did a left face at the end rather than colors reverse then right flank cus when you guys just turn left that puts the state flag infront of the US flag which is incorrect, US flag is to ALWAYS be either to the right of or infront your state flag or whatever flag you have as your secondary
Why would they do a reverse colors u do we are supposed to do that right?
And the flags are on the correct position little do you know😂 you don’t know shit about the army do you?
@@Nofelon- it doesn’t HAVE to be a colors reverse they could’ve done a wheel about it a column left, you just can’t have the secondary flag infront of to the right of the American flag
Or a colors turn and end it where they'd go..
They shouldve did a Colors Reverse March
Thank you for posting this and for the benefit and information of you and others who view this and to refresh your memory, the words of our national anthem were written by Francis Scott Key in the aftermath of the British attack on Baltimore's Fort McHenry during the War of 1812 when he saw the American flag still waving over the fort that morning and below are Mr. Key's words if you want to look them over while listening or sing along as you stand with your hand over your heart.
The anthem begins at the 1:00 mark.
O say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
what so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,
o'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
o'er the land of the free
and the home of the brave?
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Why are the rifles at different angles
Are u stupid
Arm holding rifle has to be at a 90 degree angle, I’m in jrotc and that’s what they taught me
I know im years late lol but do all schools say your name when your doing color guard for highschool?
Yes, they say the name and rank or the Color Guard cadets on the field
Mine just says the names.
I’m sorry but the way they were lined up in the beginning, I just knew this wouldn’t be that great.. but that’s alright, nobody is perfect
Very sloppy.
