As an Honor Guard commander at my Detachment for ROTC at Texas State University, this video was the most resourceful and helpful. Thank you for those of you who took the time to make this, excellent job!
I went to the the CAP CGA in Virginia in 2001 and 2002, was a awesome experience. Now its only a weekend event per region. Where it was a 2 weekevent with 14hrs days and we did so much. It made cadets sharp and crisp for sure. Wish they did a academy like this for colorguard also, to train my cadets for a color guard competition.
While the team here does well, there specifics that the team needs to work on: spacing on entrance, Mark Time foot height/uniformity and knees at the Mark Time. The team should be proud and continue to strive for perfection. Semper ad Honorem. DrillMaster
Where is the new Air Force Honor guard sequences at? The manual has a lot Of changes and seems like it was rushed v/r. New AF Honor Guard message me and will explain 👌🤙🏾
Order arms means both the rifles and flag both have to go to the ground. Air Force Honor Guard follows a different manual anyway. They called port arms because they needed to go to port arms. Simple as that. Order arms isn't the only command you can call after present.
If you're talking about the very beginning, that movement is usually used to get through a low-clearance such as a doorway (you can't get through a doorway and keep the flag upright) otherwise you NEVER dip the colors, like they mentioned in the video.
yah its right shoulder huh but the guy in the back has his on the left shoulder, that is incorrect. im the captain for fruita monument high school JROTC COLOR GUARD. and i know that is wrong

As a Commander of the CAP Honor Guard Academy I find this video OUTSTANDING training material.
I am color guard commander and this video has helped a ton

OUTSTANDING!! I love it! Go Air Force!! HUA!
As an Army Retiree and Legion HG Commander I like this training video, otherwwise I prefer the commands in regular English as the Army does.

This guy know what he's talking about. Trust me, he has literally written the book in the subject.
@michael7324 baron von steuben literally wrote the book, not this guy who just sits on Instagram and yells at jrotc and cap cadets all day
@@tristanb.3470 Right. von Steuben wrote the original for battle tactics. He didn't write about this. I did, however. Cry and whine all you want.
Very good
The team looks great, but I wish there was an English translation for the commands.
You guys should do one for Countermarch March,
But basically flawless!
Zoomies don't countermarch.

Makes me miss BHG. Glad to Honor with Dignity!
drill speaking about flagships and that accidents on MTV
Why was the command, "Order Arms," not given? Am I missing something here or what?
when?
They say "Port Arms" after giving the command "Present Arms"
Order arms means both the rifles and flag both have to go to the ground. Air Force Honor Guard follows a different manual anyway. They called port arms because they needed to go to port arms. Simple as that. Order arms isn't the only command you can call after present.
Gage Fontenot Oh. Okay.
outside indoors and wars
The guy in the back did left shoulder and soluted the rifle. I believe your supposed to just hold it.
if injuries continue until time served no payments either for services
right shoulder arms... one gun goes right one left... Am I missing something?
So when they face the crowd before posting the rifles are always on the outside of the formation.
It's an honor guard command. Right shoulder is the equivalent of carry colors, but the left/rear guard goes to the outside shoulder.
Why are they marching off in such a hurry all movements including marching is supposed to be at 60 beats a minute
Air force regulation states that all marching, whether it be in formation, etc, will be at quick time. Quick time being 100 to 120 beats a minute.
Why did they dip american flag
If you're talking about the very beginning, that movement is usually used to get through a low-clearance such as a doorway (you can't get through a doorway and keep the flag upright) otherwise you NEVER dip the colors, like they mentioned in the video.
you do dis colours though?
enemies will attack to attack them.... let them guards safe.
Maybe add captions next time. Not much use as a training video if you cant understand the garbled mess and echoing reverb.
Why is he yelling the commands? They’re supposed to be subdued
It's called TRAINING!!

It isn't wrong, this is an honor guard colors sequence.
