*Oo wee, new shii* 👀 ⚡👌🏼👌🏼⚡ Everyone's new favourite street wheels 🤙🏼 That gear drive sounds pretty quiet, not screechy like many others. Some awesome carvin shots 🔥
I completely agree! They are my favorite wheels. I don’t even touch my cloud wheels anymore. Though, I am interested in trying the cloud wheel 105 Galaxy. You should try those Drew!
I have a set of 95a barrel bushings on both front and rear I believe! It’s a strong hard feel, normally I like to rock a 90a up front but I wanted to feel secure when running fast paces
@@DrewElia Thank you so much for the reply. So if I am 190lbs I should get 93a Barrels rear and 90a front? (I Guess).. And finally do you use Riptides or any other brand?
@@DrewElia Thanks that makes sense. I find the BOA already quite gripping. And regarding range ? Would one lose a lot of range going from BOA to theses MADs ?
That’s kind of an interesting question. In theory gear drive should have less rolling resistance but that doesn’t mean much cause range is effected by so many other things. Road conditions. Weight, wind, everything under the sun hahah but in theory gear drive is better range
These rides absolutely amazingly. Not to mention that they are comfortable as well!
Agree, the comfort level is there and the grip with the newer wider contact patch is even better.
MAD ripping the neighborhood🙌🏼🤟🏼👌🏼
Shredding it up!!!!
Nice!! Got my MAD V2s yesturday, but rainy and wet now and last 3 weeks back.. Season might be ower.

Oh Snap!!! Wheel Wednesday!!!
It’s wheely wheel Wednesday. See what I did there

I have a set coming to me! Stay tuned
@@DrewElia looking forward to it man! I’ll most likely get a set as soon as I see your review on them :D
Hi Drew,
Nice video! I just wanted to ask, what kind of bushing setup you got on this board(durometer, types), thanks in advance!

I use riptides exclusively. the krank set up thats a good set up, you can also pick up 96a for the rear and 93a front
Nice review! How do they grip and feel compared to BOA wheels? Thanks
These grip way more than the BOA, the BOA are meant for a little slide action, mad105 are gripping the road more
@@DrewElia Thanks that makes sense. I find the BOA already quite gripping. And regarding range ? Would one lose a lot of range going from BOA to theses MADs ?
@Jason_Music well the 105mm is slightly larger than 100 but I can’t imagine a tremendous difference between the two
@@DrewElia thx a lot!!
13 :o
Very nice review as usual
Thank you very much! Really appreciate it
Gear drive vs belt drive which is better for range ?
That’s kind of an interesting question. In theory gear drive should have less rolling resistance but that doesn’t mean much cause range is effected by so many other things. Road conditions. Weight, wind, everything under the sun hahah but in theory gear drive is better range
The new Geardrives are superb 👌 well at least Linn power and Acedeck
@robras2850 I actually have the brand new Linnpower gear drive for my mk1 EVO I’ll be doing a video on that as well!
Sorry if I missed this information, but is it a big difference compared to the Gen1 Mad Wheelz?
It’s in the video haha, Larger contact patch by 10mm , extra “suspension” hole (13 holes instead of 12) beefier wheel over all
@@DrewElia Oh yes I saw that part, what I meant to ask is: does it feel any different? Sorry my bad!
@DX48H9WM grip is more confident at higher speeds, I mean 25 mph I’m RIPPING IT and didn’t think once it would slid out
