RUclips is filled with thousands (maybe millions) of vloggers and "do it your selfers" all doing the same thing. I tire quickly of talking heads at the end of a selfie stick and people demonstrating how to do something that has been done thousands of times. Finding the balance is extremely difficult. Jason & Nikki seem to have found a great atmosphere largely spearheaded by their unique personalities, enthusiasm and chemistry. We see this balance between beautiful scenery, story telling and informative dialog that unfolds before us in such a delightful way. Nobody bats 1000 on these channels but the Wynns seem to deliver very consistently. I always look forward to their uploads. Also, as was mentioned in the comments, anyone who has traveled and tried to maintain uploads on a regular basis knows the frustrations and difficulty in finding sufficient means to do so. Jason & Nikki deserve all the credit they've worked so hard for :-)
+Travels with Yoly Awe thanks for the love! We work really hard to post a good story that also looks good and we love hearing that you appreciate us. Thanks for sailing with us!
I have read most of the comments and it appears that a lot of people have missed another part of the experience that occurred here. It wasn't just about all of us and what we wanted or didn't want to see, nor was it just about Jason, Nickki and the crew. It was also about the Panamanian famers and workers that were so proud of what they do and found this wonderful opportunity to share their lives and culture with us. I have lived in several other countries and I can tell you these people loved the idea that they could share their world with us. Jason, Nikki and crew....my hat is off to you for being respectful of others and allowing them to share all of the "coffee info" with you. I can assure you, it meant the world to them. Because of your respectful attitudes and appreciation, you were granted the opportunity to see more than probably their buyers see, and therefore, we were allowed to go with you. Thanks!
This video is simply wonderful...it warms my heart to see how much each of you fully enjoyed an experience of a lifetime. Thank you so much for sharing your enthusiasm and love for adventure and discovery. This is an amazing journey you are taking me on.
Thanks for bringing us every aspect of your travels, not just the sailing! It doesn't have to all be gear reviews and demos. You are traveling the world, and I am living vicariously!
I usually don’t comment on your videos, but I wanted to say thank you. This was actually very educational and well put together. I don’t even like coffee, I found this entertaining and informative. I appreciate your effort on this. Really cool.
Awesome video! Many years ago I picked coffee in Costa Rica on my friend's plantation for bar money. It is a memory I will always cherish. You are all so very lucky.
For those people whining about this episode being boring, it is great that they can be content with the mundane packaged products that are available in every corner store. For many of us though, an *occasional* indulgence, whether beer, coffee, or lifestyle, keeps things interesting. Perhaps when you get to India or Ceylon you can do a similar tour of a tea plantation to satisfy some of (but never all) of the dissidents.
could not believe that they were so labour intensive, the hand sorting of beans blew me away, as you said the enormity of being able to experience the process of these coffee beans and the insight these producers made available to you is not to be taken too lightly, thank you for and interesting video... Danny
Guys this is an incredible video. The personalities and complexity of these experiences as well as the visual... I can't get over this video and the experience you shared.
Holy Moly! We are green with envy. So amazing! These are the kinds of experiences is why we watch you. We seek adventure, too. So this is Inspirational. Coffee Geek Heaven.
Thanks for bringing us along on your coffee adventure. I am not a coffee drinker, but you nailed it. Authentic experiences like that are what makes the best memories.
For those of you criticizing them for being silly for being excited about coffee, it’s the experience they are after. The coffee I’m sure is great, but you’d never replace your daily Dunkins for it. But meeting local farmers & touring the farm is certainly interesting.
the thing is that back in the u.s. yall are use to drink cheap coffee from mcdonalds and eat cheap food but actually coffee tasting is same or even more classy than wine tasting
As a fellow coffee lover I must say... this was freaking amazing! If only RUclips had smell-o-vision and taste-o-vision., lol - Thanks for sharing this once in a lifetime pilgrimage to the top of the holy coffee mountain to commune with the gurus de java! :D
My word.....I never knew some coffee's could bring those high prices. I think the highest price I ever payed was $9.50/lb. of ground coffee and I've never been in a Starbucks. I usually learn something new from these videos....thank you!
What an amazing & rare experience! I can’t even imagine how excited you were...well to drink what you took home since it still hadn’t sunk in how crazy it was to actually be there. Glad you were able to have that experience seeing what coffee connoisseurs you guys are! 😍
Twice in my life I have had coffee that was extraordinary. I was amazed at how much better it was than all other coffee I've had. Wonderful to come along on this adventure to where such magic comes from!
As someone who has no interest in drinking coffee this was still a very informative video. Glad the everyone had what is definitely a very unique thing to experience!
WOW! Loved watching this episode and learning all about COFFEE right along with you! You all got to experience something sooooooo special and we were lucky enough to get to come along with you through the view lens of your camera. :-)
Loved seeing this video and sharing your experiences. We visited Boquete for my birthday on 11/11/11 and went to a coffee plantation. You brought back a lot of great memories. What a blast! Coffee will never be the same…. Thanks so much for sharing this.
EXCELLENT presentation!! Truly a wonderful & enjoyable video. I felt like I was there. Thanks for ALL the work you put in to your videos!! I learned so much....and I don’t even drink coffee! (Tea-totaler ALL the way!!!). But very informative nonetheless. Thanks to all of you! Lauri
I started following you guys for the sailing but I keep checking back every week for videos like this! Thanks! I have started watching your "prior life" rv episodes and this reminds me of the bourbon country tour (also excellent!). Even my wife, a non coffee drinker, said maybe she should try coffee after seeing this.
This video was great! Jason's enthusiasm is infectious and I found myself smiling along with him by the end of the video. Also I am a coffee lover so I really enjoyed this one. It deserves way more views than what it has.
Honored just to be a viewer watching this video about the acme of coffee and the process it goes through to get to my cup. I really enjoyed this episode. Thanks for your enthusiasm, your willingness to seek adventure and making a human connection to something we probably take for granted. Thanks.
I loved everything about this video. I used to judge coffee competitions and review coffee and stopped a few years ago due to my life changing drastically. This kind of enthusiasm expressed in the video really brought back a lot of memories for me.
Caffeine OVERLOAD! So cool to see the process. My father had a few trees on his property and the effort it took for him to get a few pounds of coffee was insane. But so good! Thanks for sharing your adventure. Safe travels. ❤
How amazing! I'm not a coffee drinker, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching all the process' and the views were spectacular! Great video, thank you for sharing, and safe travels!
Thank you for this tour on coffee now other people will get to know how precious is the process of coffee. My grandfathers from my mom and my dad use to have coffee farm in Puerto Rico. Muchas gracias me encanto este video. Lulu
I think this has been one of the most educational, most entertaining, most eye-catching (the terrain scenery was magnificent!) and most enthusiastic videos ever (from anybody!). Jason's energy was bubbling over and totally contagious! Just like a kid on Christmas morning!! I'm going to have to watch this one a couple more times just to absorb more of the ambiance! Can caffeine be transported via video??? Congratulations, Jason and WELL DONE!
Such a good job guys. I love that Nikki describes the taste and smell of things. And the fact that Jason even had the warewithall to do a vlog on this coffee run is even more amazing. I find this more interesting than the waterfalls.
I have been to Panama twice. Once for Jungle training in the military and once for the invasion in 1989. I still to this day talk about the coffee I had there while watching the Cuban Embassy we were on a families rooftop on Christmas Eve and the kids came outside on Christmas day to open presents and the lady of the house made us coffee. No cream no sugar the best cup of coffee I ever had. Now I know what i need to look for.
What an amazing experience! Thank you for sharing this with coffee lovers and adventures everywhere. Learning about anything from someone who is passionate about it (happy Jason!) is always the best! Me gusto mucho! Gracias!
This was really fascinating. I’m not a coffee drinker but I am always intensely interested in finding out how things work, and here you were able to have it explained by some of the top farmers in the whole world. And you shared it with us, which is very cool. Hey! I really really really MISS being on the catamaran! How about some more boat time?
Thank you for sharing such great and informative video about this rich cafe, it was certainly a special day for you, I feel envious but in a good way. greetings to all on board, have a great day ...
Most awesome and educational! While I'm not a coffee nerd, I do love a good cup of coffee. I look forward to your future travels and videos... thank you!
Over-the-top coffee people!! Learned something as I pause the video to make this post. I always like a dark roast. Just learned that quality coffee has to be roasted light !! Who knew ?? ☕️
No light roast actually has more caffeine in it too, for decaffeinated they just make it all super dark (unless maybe now they have some genetically modified kind). I've always enjoyed light roast more for the caffeine and taste!
Richard Chasse I too was surprised when I first learned this, as I always preferred dark roast. But that was because I only bought cheap coffee. Most important to me is fresh roast fresh grind. Doesn't have to be too expensive to taste good. Lots of good info can be found on yt.
This looks so fun! A few years ago I did a cupping as part of a tour of local roasters and I learned so much that I incorporated into my daily coffee routine. Taking a tour on the actual farms/plantations/orchards where it's grown would be epic!
I have a new appreciation for coffee...wowza! That was exceptional- lucky you guys!! As ALWAYS, thanks for sharing all this cool stuff with us, y'all are so selfless!!
Excellent video... quite the learning experience! I had to make myself a sad cup of my average coffee, which I spruced up with some Bailey’s to celebrate your first class coffee adventure. As always, thank you for taking us along for the ride.❤️
Wow guys, once again you've blown me away! Another excellent video full of many things I've always wanted to know and see. I'm so happy my son shared your channel with me. You're always informative with delightful attitudes. You are skilled in videography and editing making your videos fun, funny and beautiful! I look forward to the next one. Happy sailing! 🤗🤟
I'm not a big coffee drinker, but this was utterly fascinating. I'm excited for Jason that he was able to experience this. I love what he said about you valuing experiences...such a great way to live and a nice reminder. I usually need a light coffee with lots of cream and a ton of sugar, but I found it an interesting point that the good coffees don't need additives and you don't want it because it changes the special flavor. So. Interesting! Thanks for sharing such a special day with us. It's nice they let you film it.
This was so great to watch..... What an opportunity........ Thanks for sharing...... Been watching for almost a year now..... Fellow coffee enthusiast..... Wine enthusiast.... Beer enthusiast ..........................Life enthusiast.........
The video was awesomely entertaining. The information came so naturally that I felt like I was almost there with you. Did you ever expect to be talking to and getting a private grade tasting at the plantation with “The Guy”. How cool is that! LOL Thank you so much for sharing the adventure with us. Love the sailing, love the boat... Steve Herzing, Cypress, Texas
What an amazing experience. I’m on a Wynn video bender. It’s so relaxing and peaceful. There’s nothing on tv I want to watch. Just watching your videos is so nice.

My thoughts exactly
Thanks for bringing us every aspect of your travels, not just the sailing! It doesn't have to all be gear reviews and demos. You are traveling the world, and I am living vicariously!
This is awesome! who else welcomes 4 strangers into their business to give them this much depth into their process.
wow! and two more farmers took you in. What a wonderful experience!!
I usually don’t comment on your videos, but I wanted to say thank you. This was actually very educational and well put together. I don’t even like coffee, I found this entertaining and informative. I appreciate your effort on this. Really cool.
How wonderful for the coffee farmers to spend the time educating you and sharing their types. Thanks for sharing, quite overwhelming!

i thought the same thing when i watched them hand sort... what a process. what care they gave

Well said Jana!
the thing is that back in the u.s. yall are use to drink cheap coffee from mcdonalds and eat cheap food but actually coffee tasting is same or even more classy than wine tasting
That was cool. Amazing the love these farmers put into their product.
Really enjoyed tagging along on this journey- so interesting...

Justin ROCKED the Slurp; rocked it! What an incredible experience, really enjoyed it.
Thank you for the tour. This video was breathtaking. Unbelievable. Not just the footage but you make us feel like we’re along with you.

Interesting that the grower said that dark roast is full of carbon, (burnt) and you lose the flavors of the coffee.
Wow, that was awesome AND information overload is right. Thanks for taking us along on your adventures.
What an amazing & rare experience! I can’t even imagine how excited you were...well to drink what you took home since it still hadn’t sunk in how crazy it was to actually be there.
Glad you were able to have that experience seeing what coffee connoisseurs you guys are! 😍
Great video! As a long time coffee drinker, I really appreciated the passion you and the farmers have for their product. Take care and all the best!
Consistently my favorite channel. Love you guys. Thank you

Loved this. You guys have a talent for making each place you go an unexpected delight.

hey guys great vlog today!! just had to say those drone shots were gorgeous!! thx
Really loved this video! So interesting and educational! Coffee is life!
Best episode ever. For the doubters, behind oil, coffee is or was at one time the second most valuable traded commodity in the world.
This video was great! Jason's enthusiasm is infectious and I found myself smiling along with him by the end of the video. Also I am a coffee lover so I really enjoyed this one. It deserves way more views than what it has.
😘💕
Honored just to be a viewer watching this video about the acme of coffee and the process it goes through to get to my cup. I really enjoyed this episode. Thanks for your enthusiasm, your willingness to seek adventure and making a human connection to something we probably take for granted. Thanks.
That was awesome. These are the types of non-sailing videos worth watching.
So interesting. Thank you. I dearly love good coffee. With that said I have never had that quality of a coffee. Maybe some day.
Great episode, so much information! Jason sure looked happy to be able to take those sample beans with him at the last place :D
This is a wonderful video. My favorite of all your videos. Indeed, the pinnacle of authentic experience.
I loved everything about this video. I used to judge coffee competitions and review coffee and stopped a few years ago due to my life changing drastically. This kind of enthusiasm expressed in the video really brought back a lot of memories for me.

Amazing colors and textures of the jungle from above with the drone.😊
An amazing experience. So grateful you take us all along. Thanks for sharing.
Fabulous video guys, thanks for sharing an experience that is totally foreign to me.
How amazing! I'm not a coffee drinker, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching all the process' and the views were spectacular! Great video, thank you for sharing, and safe travels!
Watched this as I drank my morning coffee. Will put this place on my bucket list for sure! Thanks for sharing.
So very interesting to see how this rare and very expensive coffee is produced! Thanks for sharing such a remarkable craftsman.
Thank you for this tour on coffee now other people will get to know how precious is the process of coffee. My grandfathers from my mom and my dad use to have coffee farm in Puerto Rico. Muchas gracias me encanto este video. Lulu
Beautiful video!!! Great work guys! Salud!!!
You all are so awesome! I wanna grow coffee now! Thanks for letting us peak in on this. Love your enthusiasm

Man you guys are awesome. Loved this video. Have fun and when you come back to Texas we would love to see you
Wow! That was really cool. I need to make coffee now. Thanks so much for sharing that unique and special experience.
Really very interesting indeed and beautifully put together as always. Watched with a cup of tea :-)

Most awesome and educational! While I'm not a coffee nerd, I do love a good cup of coffee. I look forward to your future travels and videos... thank you!
One of your best vids yet. Informative, educational, exciting and unique--thanks.
Over-the-top coffee people!! Learned something as I pause the video to make this post. I always like a dark roast. Just learned that quality coffee has to be roasted light !! Who knew ?? ☕️
Richard Chasse I was surprised to hear that also. As a light roast drinker, I always thought that made me a light weight in coffee terms 😁
No light roast actually has more caffeine in it too, for decaffeinated they just make it all super dark (unless maybe now they have some genetically modified kind). I've always enjoyed light roast more for the caffeine and taste!

Starbucks trained Americans to drink bitter, burnt coffee. With the caffeine roasted out, they got people to buy double/triple/quadruple shots.
According to Alfred Peet (founder of Peet's Coffee), Starbucks is not in the coffee business but the milk business.....
Amazing video! One of your best productions.
I am SOOOO envious of you guys.

Simply amazing. Thank you very very much for so much. Thank you.
It would never occur to me to spend so much for coffee. I appreciate all the hard work that they do.
so interesting, one of your best video's on just content alone
This last summer I went to Peru and Ecuador and I visited a cacao farm. The process is very similar and this video brought me back to my trip!
What an amazing experience. I’m on a Wynn video bender. It’s so relaxing and peaceful. There’s nothing on tv I want to watch. Just watching your videos is so nice.
Thank you really enjoyed the information shared!!!
Very interesting video, thanks so much!
Well done guys, REALLY jealous of the experience!
Excellent and informative -thank you
Wow, you guys are truly on an adventure. So awesome.
What an awesome experience! Cool episode guys! Thanks!
I love coffee... now I appreciate it a lot more thanks to your video. Thanks for sharing!!! BTW... love the ending!!!
Simply an amazing adventure. Thank you so much for share your experiences with us.
Wow. What a great video. This whole experience you were able to have and to share on this coffee. Just, WoW.
Wonderful video again. I did not know that it is hand picked. That is amazing.
I so wish I had a cup of coffee to sip while watching this. I may have to make a cup and enjoy this twice. Great job.
What a Fabulous experience! Fantastic Video's! Thanks
Discovered your channel pretty recently. Originally I was mostly interested in the sailing stuff. The RVing is great as well, but sailing is my thing.
However, watching this video, I am totally wowed! You guys are so inspirational, keep up the good work!!
Coffee Heaven. I had no idea. Adding Panama to my bucket list.
The coffee looked soooooo good!!
Thanks guys
The redwood rainforest looks a lot like that. I grew up climbing up and down hills just like that. Occasionally, a huge tree would fall, you could walk up and down its two to three hundred foot trunk, we made huge rope swings that would take us across canyons like that. A great place to grow up. My first experience with a better coffee was at a Roaster called Humboldt Bay Coffee Company in Eureka, CA , in the Redwoods, and when I lived there the smell of roasted coffee was all over town. No one complained.. I've roasted my own, and its so aroma is amazing. If I were there I'd buy a bunch. Yes, you were Soooo Lucky... I think I'd wear a coffee brown colored shirt for that tasting lol
