Good to see Levell coming back post injury. They ran into a -1.1 wind so the times could have been a little better. The 200m is the event I'm most worried and have been worried about for some time. It 's been 6 years since a JA Man went under 20, seven years if your'e not counting the Legend Bolt. Guys need to step up!
Hopefully they’ll be able to run sub-20’s in the near future
@@iamshanegreen4485 Hopefully by next year Levell or someone else breakthrough.
Ok up and coming this is my first time seeing and hearing of these guys
For real? I have other races of them on my channel so you can watch and get familiar with them a bit.
I hope Antonio and Levell can lower their times in the near future...
They will Shanna-Lee

I think it will take sub-20 to make the finals in Budapest.
Absolutely. Sub 10 for the 100m as well.
lol its not a thought it is a definite.
Aside from the Merkans, how many more real elite 200m runners out there?
We need better 200m times
glad fi see levell back
Same 💯
All those 20. can go park 😅
20 seconds na go nu way
If u nah run 19 sec u nuh have a not even a medal chance…
How come noone talking about dunkley's amazing run in that lane
Dwyer wouldn't even make it pass the heat with those times
😅😅😅😅😅😅 smh
Imagine the time that athlete would run if he never stop he literally demolish di field
Grandfather Rasheed 😂😂..gwaan do you thing
Well, sometimes our best isn’t good enough. Have to go sub 20
True eno
What’s the qualifying standard for men 200m
20.16.
Thanks for sharing Bradley 👍
My wife left her phone in the house.I ran 19.77 in my timberlands and jeans pants to catch her at the traffic light.Track and field just can’t maintain my dollies.
i guess you live 200 meters away from that traffic light , nuh true.
I hope Hudson is not injured, he's our only hope in men's 200
I was looking forward to see JC's Malique Smith Band in action but I'm assuming exams takes precedents.
@@anclark2063he ran the 400
@@shamarharvey6117 Ithanks however I saw it after i made the post, but I'd really love to see him take on the 200m, our seniors aren't interested in the event.
@@anclark2063 I believe Smithband time in the 400 was 46.5 so he's in great shape leading up to the trials
to how d world a run now is better uno gwaan a uno bed
Hope these athletes realize not everyone can run 100m and the field is so competitive even 10,000 m is a sprint when you look at how the kenyans and Ethiopians approach it plus the ones doing well earn a good living
Not a bad progression by Kerr
He’s doing well this season 👍
It just don't make sense. These times are senseless 😢
Hopefully they’ll improve in the future
who da bredda deh @4:51, man did ah gwuan good
When u find out tell mi because mi wah know too.… the athlete that ran pass him and came first after he pulled up ran 21:82… imagine if him never pulled up… that looks like 19 sec tbh
@@seven5872 dat mia seh iya,,, it looked like 19 sittn. he was too far ahead and stopped running waaaaaaay b4 the finish line
I did not get his name eno. The heats sheets were all mixed up and even the stadium announcer was puzzled.
Facts he was definitely gonna hit 19 suttin
wind?
Wind -1.1
@@berry87 there's about 10 heats in the 200, which one?
Didnt see hughes
He ran the 100m instead
Dwyer going places
With those times? U gotta be kidding
Dwyer wouldn't even make it pass the first round at the world championship
@@carecachristie2470 and he just might be the man to beat at nationals ...not encouraging at all
@@Spliffstar404 we aint talking about nationals . We talking about world championship . And his times wouldn't make it out of the first round
@@carecachristie2470 good, now name 8 people who will make the finals over him?
High school running
Yes. They merged the races
Theres no hughes!
My bad. He ran the 100m instead.
Maybe the only savior jamaica has in this event is Mr. Hudson....... maybe!
Let’s see what happens
These times are pathetic
If you not doing sub 20s in Budapest you not even making the semis
Let’s see what happens
Is it training or talent just not there why the athletes cant run sub 20 sec in the 200 we cant compete with the rest of the world in 200 running 20sec
Let’s see how it goes in the future
I believe its the interest, too many 100m runners plus Bolt started showing too much interest in 100m when he was more of a 200m specialist and now Shellyann has stated her disinterest in the event. Our high school champ Alana Reid who was a 200m specialist for the past 2yrs has snubbed the event.
