I remember this game quite vividly. I had it on PS1. It was genuinely a blast. I spent countless hours as a child trying to beat the initial levels, but I didn't have a PS1 memory card so I started from scratch every time and never had the chance to sit long enough and finish it.
I would prefer a game the covers the first three films. This one doesn't even try to follow the structure of the films. Considering the fact that Toy Story 2 was originally planned as a straight to video release, it seems pretty unlikely that they would have planned for a game tie in. I would bet that this was merely supposed to be a Buzz Lightyear game and they just changed it to Toy Story 2 for market synergy with the movie.
So crazy. I remember playing this game on my n64. The most I did was get towards the tree/backyard level. I never had enough storage to save. The memories...
so much nostalgia loved this game and it isn't actually that bad even with replaying it a few years ago also the goddamm music is so good one of my favourite video game soundtracks
I've never played but for 23 years game is jaw dropping good. I've got amazed by the colors. Resident evil 4 is a lot more modern and there's no colors at all.
Thank you for this! This was also one of the first games I remember playing as well, so much nostalgia! It’s games like this that caused me to love gaming!
Damn dude! I remember being stuck on that robot for forever when I was a kid. I know this isn't ment to be a series but it would be so amazing if it became one..
Me too. As a kid I didn't know how to beat the robot, I always tried to shoot him while it was moving and never guessed that you had to wait until it stopped moving. xD
I remember playing this as a kid on the Dreamcast!! Made it all the way to the construction site but had to go to bed lmao!! Didn’t have a safe cartridge so I had to restart. Fun times!! Happy to see this game again!!
I feel so nostalgic, this is pretty much my childhood, played it for years on PC and the fact that it was launched in 1999 (the year I was born) makes it extra special for me :D
Nostalgia is such a strong feeling but nothing compares too that feeling I used too get playing in one of my favourite animated film series of all time the first time around.
watching this video i remember exactly everything. how to complete the levels, the maps, all of it. this game was a huge core memory for me growing up. i played this on the N64
This game has aged very well. The only things are the clunky first person aiming and the lack of camera control. I don't know if it was altered in some way for PS Plus, but the frame rate seems very smooth.
Super Mario 64 had massive open world levels and multiple enemies and that came out in 1996, games have had open world abilities for so long now it's impressive.
This is literally the first action platformer I ever played! My first ever video game was Toy Story Racer... As you can tell I loved Toy Story Lol. Also, the FPS on cutscenes was higher on the original hardware, idk why it's lower on the remaster here.
I remember beating the RC car for the first time as a kid I use to think that it was so hard 🤣🤣🤣 I’m 30 now and still remember this like it was yesterday but crazy part is I had this game on the Nintendo 64
About a year ago, I was still able to purchase PS1 Disney's Hercules on the PS3 digital store. I'm so glad I did that! Like Toy Story 2, that game still holds up pretty well.
This was the first game I owned as a kid. I remember the good times playing it, I've never finished though. I might give a try and finish it after all these years
Lol New memory unlocked!🥺 I remember grinding this in one sit down on the n64 😂😂 I never beat it cause I couldn’t save my progress. Definitely going to beat it now.
Really enjoyed watching i remember playing this as a kid i was 8 when i last played this it was one of my favourites watching this reminded me of playing others like abes odyssey small soldiers and rugrats wish they would bring some of the ps1 classics back.

my ps1 always said no memory card in slot 1 and it doesn't save on the ps2 either, 🙂
Me too bro 😔
Imagine a remaster or remake of this game
You can say that this is actually a remaster those games are upscaled I think

@@Mew_Stor i want Ray Tracing
This, and Toy Story Racer + Toy Story 3. Especially Toy Story 3!
There needs to be!
This legitimately unlocked so many memories. Holy cow the nostalgia!! Thank you for playing this and reminding me of my childhood 🥹
Somehow this looks like it has held up pretty well. The platforming looks fun and the graphics are quite serviceable.
I think the style lends to it. But the level design and gameplay seems pretty good.
@@SixOThree the gameplay is okay but it needs a serious redesign, the controls are a bit janky
@@benitocamela174 you just prob aren’t used to it
@@Abandonedchannel_Mysticpizzathe controls are doo doo. This is not a Dreamcast controller with those limited turns
I remember playing Toy Story 3 on the DS but man this sure serves as a prime example of the evolution of games and how far we've come. My God
Same dude. Such a fun game. Kinda want to but it again to replay 😂
@@StealthMister101 Yeah lol, my DS still works but I don’t use it unless a black out or a power goes out and my only option is the DS
I had that game on my wii. I don't play it anymore but I had good times with it.
@@madelyn2325 The nostalgia from it was surreal
Same

Yessir!
The green laser in the garage makes it easier! Crazy how I still remember!
I beat him first try. Just charge up your laser and he's toast in 3 or 4 hits
Me too. As a kid I didn't know how to beat the robot, I always tried to shoot him while it was moving and never guessed that you had to wait until it stopped moving. xD
loved this game back then. it was literally my first video game ive ever played
Daaaamn , this game disc must be scrapped from playing 😂 i just remember the "oooooh" Buzz fallin and disturbed Jessie's face in the appartment lmaooo
Please upload more of this series, I played this game on pc and it was so hard back in the day. Favorite series so far 100%
I remember playing this as a kid on the Dreamcast!! Made it all the way to the construction site but had to go to bed lmao!! Didn’t have a safe cartridge so I had to restart. Fun times!! Happy to see this game again!!
Aww I loved my Dreamcast 😩
This was my favorite game as a kid. Haven’t played it in years but it’s still an all-time favorite.

@@Dr.White_PHD not really, I was born in 2005 and I know more about an NES than most people.

Man I miss these games I wish these were remastered
This is gonna be so amazing to play the classics in high def .. going to make games fun again
It's actually possible to manually control the camera in TS2. You just need to go to pause menu and select "passive camera".
If you hold the spin button and release, Buzz makes spins and can make a carnage! Great memory watching this video.
This was so awesome ! Vivid memories of this game on my n64 it was tough back then !
The sound from firing the laser sounds just like when firing the plasma pistol in Halo Combat Evolved. Interesting! 😄
I couldn't unhear it once I heard it
This is pure Nostalgia at its best I remember this game and number 1 very well
So many great memories playing this game along with A Bug's Life and Crash Team Racing
Yoooo one of my childhood favorite games on the PS1
Let's all thanks trevor for all the work he put in for us
This is actually pretty damn good. I'd watch a let's play of it!
Even better, playing it yourself. You can get it pretty cheap for the Nintendo 64 or even paying for Playstation plus.
@@MetalJuggaloYTP but the graphics not that good on N64 and PS1, in this video looks cool on PS5

I remember two races, one being easy vs a regular car and the other being impossible vs open wheel car
I don't have the actual game of this but I do have a PS1 Toys R Us demo disk.
Haha I played this game!! Please keep playing this series!!
This game really deserves a remake. If SpongeBob could get a remake, that shouldn't stop another licensed game from getting a remake.
this game, jackie chan: stuntmaster and spyro 2: rypto's rage! are ps 1 legends.
I loved this game
About a year ago, I was still able to purchase PS1 Disney's Hercules on the PS3 digital store. I'm so glad I did that! Like Toy Story 2, that game still holds up pretty well.
Remember growing up playing this at my papas house as a kid…. RIP PAPA
