I am impressed, I am a true country woman who grew up on a farm. You get the true meaning of farmhouse. Thank you. The details are farmhouse. Keep on doing what you do. Love it.
A tip when making pillow cases (out of any fabric) is to make the pillow case 1-2 inches smaller all the way around then the pillow form you plan to put in it. This makes sure that your finished pillow looks nice and full. It may just be preference but I think the more full a pillow looks the more expensive and high end it looks. So for example if your pillow form is 20x20 cut each piece 20x20 or 19x19, this will give you your 1/2” seam allowance and make your finished pillow case 19x19 or 18x18, put a 20x20 pillow form in it and it’ll look AMAZING every time! I do 1” smaller if it’s a nice form, if I get a cheaper form at say Walmart then I go 2” smaller. 😊
I don’t have a sewing machine but I’m going to improvise! These all look store bought and sooooo amazing! I’m so in love!! Thank you for sharing this! I have a huge drop cloth that I can’t wait to craft with now!! 😘👏🏻🖤
Hey Emily, thank you so much for sharing this video and how to make the pillows using drop cloth, they really turned out beautiful and I love all of the designs you created!
I love the way Momma uses cotton drop cloths, bleaching/softening them and using them for all kinds of fun and beautiful projects! Thank you so much for sharing your creativity and ideas with us😘😍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I’m so glad you did this video! I bought a drop cloth several weeks back. I just took it out and washed it the other day, but I didn’t know you could bleach them, well, I didn’t think about it. I love how all of your projects turned out! I love them! They are super trendy! I love the little towel too! Thanks for sharing. 😊💕🤗
Great ideas. If you put the pins in the other direction, you can sew over them. Also, put a magnet to your right and when you pull out the pins, they stick on the magnet for easy pick-up.
I can’t pick a favorite. I love them all. You are creative and inspire me to go outside my comfort zone. I have been wanting a sewing machine. I guess I will tell my husband and son that’s what I want for my birthday.
Great diy direction's and easy to follow along. All of them were great! I think I want to make kitchen curtains like the placemat. Or at least a few decorative kitchen towels...
I love this! I feel like I’m just arriving so late in the drop cloth game. I’m currently soaking my first drop cloth, definitely going to try these pillows, so beautiful 💜
Wow !!! I love how everything turned out ... I think my favorite is the table runner and the mats. They are very simplistic and beautiful, Joanna wpuld be proud. Great job, thank you for sharing and plz stay safe 🙏💖
Loved them all, Emily! I can easily see how the use of the Arteza pens might become addictive! The Durrells was also one of our favourites and based on the true stories of Gerald Durrell, who founded the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and the Jersey Zoo. Kind regards from Penny in Liverpool 🇬🇧😊💕
I absolutely LOVE all of these projects!!! Thank you so much for sharing ... I really can't pick a favorite one, if I had to I guess the table runner. But I truly love them all!!!!!!
I prefer the pillow covers. The one with the tucks reminded me of a bedspread I made with them. The tucks also look good when close together then sew perpendicular to them in one direction then again the other direction a few inches apart. I absolutely love your work and the way you explain how to do it.
Oh my goodness I have got to get my sewing machine out when I get some of these materials they are just a must try for me I can’t believe you made the pleats that easy I have struggled with pleats before and gave up on them this is like a fail proof thank you so much for sharing God bless and stay safe
Great examples on how to make pillow covers Emily. That’s on my list to do whenever Amazon decides to deliver the drop cloth I ordered over a month ago. (I know things are crazy right now and there are definitely priority shipments and this isn’t a priority for sure.) Love the way they turned out. Happy Mother’s Day! 🤗 #kindnessmatters
Love these! Especially all the painted detail. I’m definitely going to get a drop cloth to sew pillows. Thank you for such great ideas! I love your channel.
Awesome!! Beautiful designs! Makes me want try and sew! I haven’t used a sewing machine since Junior High 😳 Drop cloth is an amazing inexpensive material to work with! Thanks for showing the bleaching technique!
I have a drop cloth just waiting for pillow forms I bought. I love how you do these DIY"s! Gonna be sewing tomorrow. Don't have any fabric pens but I'll be happy with those folds. I love both of them. My gosh they turned out fantastic Em. Thank You sooo mucy. Love ya and God Bless. OHIO
You are so very clever and artistic! Very inspirational video. I asked you in another video, and I don't know which one....for the answer to what eyeshadow you wear. It's so pretty, yet natural! Do tell!
