The a-ha channel is the official RUclips home of the Norwegian Pop trio a-ha, who achieved global stardom in 1985 when their debut single, “Take On Me” from the album ‘Hunting High And Low’ topped the charts in 36 different countries on its way to becoming one of the best-selling singles of all time, and the 5th most streamed song of the 20th century. a-ha struck chart gold again with “The Sun Always Shines On T.V.” and “Cry Wolf,” and recorded the theme to the 1987 James Bond film “The Living Daylights”. The a-ha RUclips channel is proud to host the music videos from these hits alongside live performance videos, lyric videos, and the solo work of band members Morten Harket (lead vocals), Paul Waaktaar-Savoy (Guitar), and Magne Furuholmen (Keyboards).
Magne has many interests but when he 'writes' songs, I think the best thing to do is to give them to Morten's voice. He can sing them himself but not the same result. I've always thought it was a wonderful coincedence that three talented boys were born and lived near one another. If they want the best musically they shouldn't stop being A-ha. Pål and Magne are very special songwriters but Morten's voice is what makes all their songs unique.

Through all the ins and outs of life A-HA has always been there. Stay on these Roads was just played at my favorite cousins funeral. Thanks for more than you know over all these years. A band I can share with anyone.
It's a deeper meaning that a-ha provided. It was more than cute mortem. I was in love with Mags. They made life....when I was a teenager.....more wholesome
As a young boy I played the records of A Ha a lot. Now decades later I still love the songs (also in a nostalgic way) and now I play them very often from my computer. I love the background music! Mortens vocals are amazing as always! But there is something else in this album that is not in the others. My favorite songs are#3, #4, #8, #10 & #11,

What a remarkable and super talented band a-ha is. Their new album True North is amazing to say the least, i can not wait until they tour near me in the UK next year- I booked to see them this year but unfortunately Morten became Ill and the date in Birmingham UK was cancelled- I was gutted as Ive never seen them before and I am a life long fan. PLEASE Keep touring as long as you can guys, kindest regards John G.
Oh, I so love when you guys do interviews like this. Nothing about being stuck in the 80’s with questions about that stuff. Nothing about Morten’s looks. You just actually get to talk about your music and other intelligent very interesting stuff.
