Your sermons are sustenance to my soul.I love who you are in Christ.I am an Orthodox Christian and although my view of Christ is focused more on the miracle of the resurrection rather than the suffering your sermons are truthful and break through the smoke screens. Narrow is the gate but the yolk of Christ is light. I believe we are all one in The Spirit of God.

AMAZING how you show so clearly, how we can be oblivious to what ‘narrow vs. broad’ means biblically. Any eye opener for 2021 even though this sermon was in 1998!

Many people are appalled at the notion of even a Hell existing and it doesn't seem to make sense why a righteous God would even send people to Hell. And it doesn't seem to make sense why such would be for the people who deny Jesus Christ's Resurrection and belief in Him as Lord & Savior. But all of such is part of God's grand plans, His final judgement, and His renewal of the world. What doesn't make sense to us is due to us not being Him who will make all things perfect and renewed one day!

All things new except for the people who denied Him of course.
No, that won't do. I'm a Christian myself and I recognize that nothing can actually contain the greatness of God, including the bible. The bible is both divine and human. Written by humans and therefore fallible; not much from the bible is something that has to be taken a 100% or not. It can be less or more wrong because of the human nature.
I am a Christian and I love most of Tim Kellers work but sadly he falls prey a bit to perennialism and idolatry. I feel almost mind a bad saying this because he is such a nice and awesome guy and idolatry is a grave accusation; but only God is the ultimate authority. On issues of homosexuality, or salvation, or other such things.. I say, the bible can be wrong. I warmly recommend Marilyn Mccord Adams

I completely misused perennialism. My bad. But my point is that he seems like a person who would love to discard some things in the bible, and I say he can, but his teachings and similar would say he couldn't. It becomes a huge hassle if you have to interpret, shape and such everything in the bible so that it fits the mold of our loving Jesus.
