I've been messing around with Turso as well for a side project and I love the speed! I for sure don't need this app globally scaled but I think I want to give this a go just for the round trip of learning the in's and out's of a globally distributed app like this. I'm assuming that putting CloudFlare in front of all this is almost a must but also may introduce some extra caching layers to debug for certain write scenarios?
Check out the video I put out last week using Cloudflare Workers with D1 which includes Drizzle ORM aswell! I want to make a series covering all the offerings from Cloudflare so Ill make sure to have a D1 dedicated video when that happens 👍
My blood boils whenever i see Bun mentioned on youtube, boil with excitmenet that is ❤ thanks CodeBrew, i hope youve got a video out about the new Bun and its entrance onto Windows 😍
Its just the default theme that comes with the @elysiajs/swagger package when using elysia. That's a really good idea for a comparison video I'll keep that in mind thanks 👀
Best part of this was discovering this scalar api docs integration! Impressive but I cannot for the life of me get it to work on a fresh nuxt3 install. Nothing in YT on this either might be a good next video (just sayin...)
@@cdbrw I guess I am curious if there are major advantages using the implementation by Astro, why not just use Turso directly in Astro or any other project, by the way great content!
Thats a great perspective, I'll make sure to cover that in the video. Might just make a video on this topic specifically actually. I like it a lot thanks 🙏
Yup! Turso can be set up with workers, just need to make a few tweaks. Here's a tutorial from cloudflare on how to do it: developers.cloudflare.com/workers/tutorials/connect-to-turso-using-workers/
Love the fast pace of your presentation- just the facts. Keep making more like this.
Thanks 🙏
An absolute exceptional video!
Great video. Really nice to see this kind of videos. Btw, what terminal are you using for autocomplete?
Thanks 🙏 I'm using Hyper terminal with Code Whisperer for the autocomplete

Haha theres plenty more Bun content coming 🙌have something special planned for when and where I''ll bring up the windows release 😉
What is that swagger theme?
Also, can you compare cloudflare d1 with turso?
Its just the default theme that comes with the @elysiajs/swagger package when using elysia.

@@cdbrw If I may suggest include both performance, scalability and DX :)
Thank you!

I haven't done anything in Vue in a few years ... maybe this is the time to get back into it 🤔
Any ideas about the Astro implementing Turso as a product?
I havent checked it out yet to be honest but I do plan on diving into Astro in a future video 👀 Is there anything I should know about it specifically?

This would have been PERFECT if it used embedded replicas :)
I'll have to check out embedded replicas 👀
