Gender Stereotypes About Intelligence in Academia and Beyond

In this video, I’ll tell you a little bit about my own research regarding gender stereotypes about intelligence and how those stereotypes affect the representation of women in higher education and beyond. This video might feel a bit different as I’ll be digging into the research itself in much more detail, but I hope that many of you will find it interesting.
Implicit Association Test (or IAT): A computer-based task designed to test participants’ stereotypes and/or associations between categories (e.g., social groups).
