I'm joining the Gingerbread CAL

I have been looking forward to this CAL for some time now, and once I had the funds, it was straight in my basket. I was originally planning to use my stash but found that I didn't really have the right colours or enough of some to do so, so I purchased the kit from Sirdar.com which also comes with pop out card bobbins, 3 Christmas cards and a sew in label for when the blanket is finished.
This years Crochet-a-long from Sirdar is the Gingerbread CAL, designed by Lindsey Newns of ‪@lottieandalbert‬ using Hayfield Bonus DK. It features a gingerbread house in the middle and all the Christmas nostalgia. I am super excited to start and am looking forward to receiving the first part of this pattern on the 16th October.
The blanket CAL takes place over 6 weeks so that the finished blanket is ready in time for Christmas and I can't wait to get started!
Is anyone else joining in this year? Have you bought a kit or stash diving?

I purchased my pack from the knitting and stitching show and the designer (Lindsey from lottie & Albert) sold it to me 😄 it was the last one in the wire basket, so it was meant to be I think 😂 I’ve just started a RUclips channel about crochet and just uploading my stitching show vlog 🎉

@@Samrayner88 oh it was definitely meant to be then! I met Lindsey a few years ago at the knitting & stitching show I think when she launched Curate, she really is very sweet. My friends also picked up kits at the show this weekend so I'm very much looking forward to crocheting a long with others x also good luck on your channel! I shall pop over and take a look ☺️
