Hi Amit, I bought the SXO AMT version of this 3 months back, done only 1880kms till now. I wanted an honest opinion from you if the below are normal to experience 1. In bumper to bumper traffic I found the throttle response to be too aggressive, car leaps forward even with a gentle tap of accelerator. Is this normal? 2. What mileage are you getting? After 1880kms I’m getting 17 kmpl in city with light traffic. Otherwise in bumper to bumper the figure drops to

Its been six months i like this car bcoz of its killer looks from front old legend Gypsy n from back like MPV may b like mini Kia Caren . I really like the look but could not decide due to its sitting setup. Sir good looks good space good engine good service but poor sitting position n poor ride comfort. I ve no choice want a small car for city . Punch is the only option bcoz of its comfort. I sold baleno this year due to its low built quality so punch is the only option for me in 7 lakh budget. Selecting Punch just only for seating position isnot a good decision. Engine reliability is very important when buying a car for around 8 to 10 lakhs. After 3000kms.. Hyundai cars will be very good in suspension, mileage, drivability and smoothness... But Punch will not be like that... Just think yourself, ask others and decide. Ignore YT videos.
@Exter suspension is very poor in backside almost hit tryer if 3 adult back side. We compare puch safety and real micro suv. Exter look same like grand i10

Hyundai Exter has a serious back suspension issue....when I was coming from Daman to Mumbai, I saw a white car in front of me and my immediate reaction was....what an ugly-dabba looking car....when I got closer I was stunned to see it was the newly launched Exter...which I was actually planning to buy (currently I drive a Grand i10)!! Under full load the back of the car is pressed down and makes the car look extremely ugly. If Hyundai management has any brains they will immediately rectify this problem and address this problem in public by bringing out ads. Nowadays almost every car buyer does proper research by watching youtube videos before buying any car & the Exter has already been badly exposed in this regard. Hyundai should act quickly or else this car will be a major flop and will have to be put in the dustbin. BTW this video seems to be a paid marketing video because while you have spoken about it, you have not shown any shot of the exterior of the car being driven with all 4 people inside the car....whenever the exterior was shown it only had the driver in it....only the internal shots had all 4 people in it.
It seems you are the only person in Asia ( Since Hyundai is a Korean company, else I would have said the whole world) who has got brain. I have been driving this car for last four months and absolutely happy with the performance. In all conditions it proved to be excellent vehicle. Looks can always be an issued, since choice differs. But overall at this budget this is wonderful car.
@jp1966a you are absolutely right,this is a major issue with this car, and it's the main reason to avoid this car and going for tata punch. And one more this car doesn't have the suv like feel, while you're sitting in the car and you'll feel like a typical hatchback,and in tata punch you'll feel like you're sitting in a proper suv with good bonet view I've driven both of the cars and this is my personal opinion

@@Adam_Moncy_David yes brother you are right, Hyundai has better service, better reliability, better driving dynamics But it lacks on speaker system, ruggedness I used to have a grand i10, I Like Hyundai more than tata, but this time tata has done a better job than Hyundai,you cannot deny it. It can be seen by the sales figures And btw these two cars are proper SUVs as suv defines as a body style, it doesn't depends on the off-road capability or 4x4 Suv, hatchback,sedan these all are body style and there are a lot of other body styles

Caution: Hyundai shall work on rear suspension of exter , it can damage neck and spines. Update : Hyundai is denial mode for this issue
