1970 Duster Roll Cage 8-Point Review

Some things to consider when installing a roll bar or roll cage in your race car. In this video I show how the 8-point roll bar is installed in my 1970 Duster. Most of the tips apply to just about any vehicle.

They should have brought the front bars forward to foot pad area.Rhoades Race Cars sells billit swing out bar inserts that work well that make it easy to get in and out. It's good to see some old mopar muscle getting some attention. Those cars are light

If I recall, the front bars were pre-cut in the kit, and they went as far forward as they could with the positioning of the main hoop and height that they needed to be attached at. I may upgrade to a swing-out bar when I get older lol. FYI, you can't have a swing out bar in a car faster than 8.5 which I will never have to worry about.
