Black bean looks awesome and those tops are really nice
Getting close to getting the fretboards on now.
2 More killers brother. I love your top glue up rock jig! Very cool. These will both be so nice. Peace & Love
Thanks! Sometimes an easy solution is just out in the garden! 😂
I really like the body shape Arran and great choice of wood too!👍
Thanks Gio. I think the blackbutt could provide some challenges, but I’m sure it will be worth it.
I m getting wood envy!
I can’t wait to get finish on these!
Looking terrific!
Thanks!
Love the laminate between the two body woods, such a nice contrast!
Cheers, it certainly adds a little something!
Adding that heavy rock tone at 4.25 - that's the secret!
It sure is! 🤘🤘
looking great bud!
Cheers Mick!
Tasty! Once someone told me to do the black veneer on my guitars I can't go back. Looks classier and makes the glue line irrelevant :D
Thanks Chris. I think they made a great impact, without that much extra work.
Nice!
I have to echothe laminate comments. That contrast really gives depth to the look of the guitar.
I think the lamination is my new favourite thing to include!
Amazing work, love the tops! What is the material you out between the top and body?
Thanks! The veneer is 0.5mm dyed maple. 👍
Looking great, how you finding building two at once?
It’s been good doing 2 at once and saves a bit of time setting up tools/jigs etc.
@@adairguitars I can well imagine
Doesn't everyone rough cut the shape of the body and top before glueing them together? Or at least, most of us do that it that way?
Most probably do, although I’ve seen some glue up first. Cutting once, rather than three times is tempting though!
24 frets???,,,,,,with tremolo bridge??
22 frets for each. One will have a regular trem and the other a bigsby.
