Surprised for a band that was blowing up in the late 90's these guys are not even in the 1mill category There first album produced a slew of notable hits.
That guitar solo is sooooooo fast ...this guy can shred but he plays so precisely and follows the melody with blistering speed....he’s incredibly talented.... bass and drums are monster players also...imho....
these guys have not lost there touch, they were awesome they are now greats, there live shows still rock over 10 yrs after they released there track and still its not getting only, could see thee guys once a month and never get bored with the live show
nitro circus! how could this only have 789 views! this is a late 90's aussie classic!! Fuck I miss these guys. Suprising that there's so little of them on youtube.
Green Day took them out on the "Insomniac" tour, when all they had to their name was the "Hellbound" EP, and ended up doing so several times after that. Supposedly, "Hitchin' a Ride" was in part a tribute to the Living End sound. It's a shame that America just never 'got' this amazing band (I'm a Yank, for the record)
I remember being in like 4th grade watching "Idel Hand" lmao. funny fucking movie... even better band. Aussies can get down too lmao. Big up The Living End

Most people don't have taste. squares
The Living End making the double bass the coolest instrument to play since 1994

I'm guessing the video was just posted when you watched it. The (only) 789 views were a function of time, not quality.

I saw them live a few weeks ago, still just as good, just a little bit older 😉
They played this at their free concert at Manly today. Second time I've seen them in a month, fuck they go off.

The credits of "Idle Hands (1999)" turned me on to this song. Groovy

I have such vivid memories of spending a summer driving around and delivering pizzas their music
it's like if Stray Cats & Green Day (or the Clash) had a baby. a really awesome one at that.
Interesting that The Living End are mentioned in the credits of one of Green Days first commercial-ish records...
Well, not really credits... more like a shout out to ;)
I see more sex pistols influence & the clash

you have a good musical ear, they are die hard stray cats fans and were signed to green days record label back in the day.
I saw them live at the final Offshore (as in when it was still held near Torquay) in 2000- they totally kicked arse! Man that was a great festival...
