I cannot describe how incredible it is that Anita is changing my life. My life has been fear based and as i am reading and watching her videos, i can feel i am not as fearful...which is really huge. I had parents who taught me that with a slightest mistake, I wouldn't have a future. I spent my whole adult life trying to leave their extremely negative attitude behind. I used to get and still get so frightened.. Anita's words and perception are so loving that as i take them in, i catch myself trapped in fear quicker, get out of it. I notice that i have less fear and also have a desire to live fully n fearlessly as i listen to her more and more. Anita is a true angel in a human form...I love her so much..

I will always find time to listen to you Anita, you have saved my sanity. After loosing both my parents and now seeing my little brother fighting ALL leukemia. Being still very young and facing all the loss and illness is tough but you pulled me through it. There is a reason for everything, I know my mom and dad are still around and know for sure, my brother will be fine. Thank you Anita for giving me the hope and the strength. You are an angel.

I know that I was born as an empath and feel things differently than most others including family. I remember being a young child and feeling different and didn't understand why so many people were cruel - especially to animals! I came from love, and so many behaviours were so confusing for me as I didn't understand them. I always said HI to everyone in passing and was always reminded to not talk to strangers. BUT, it was just a hello and a smile. :)

I was also a victim of bullying at school and coming from India (albeit not brown skinned but fair hair and green eyes) It seemed that my timid nature and impeccable manners didn't go well with the rough and ready children of the neighborhood. My schooling in London was for the most part disastrous and help from my peers and superiors were not forthcoming. I, as a result fell between the chairs and for the years that followed I became an anxious and angry individual with an arsenal of defense strategies to use against anyone that dared to belittle me in any way. I have since, improved to some degree but cannot commit to close friendships or even attend social gatherings and despite this time lapse, I cannot really say that I am as confident and calm as I would like to be. Your programme however, has really brought home to be grateful for many things I have, as well as providing me with the insight to focus on the things that I should give more importance to. Thank you!

There is a difference between being "empathetic" and "overly empathetic". The latter of those two are the ones who absorb the energy of others and carry a heavy burden. These empaths often end up with some sort of physical health issues. Overly empathetic individuals also often feel many "un's"... unsafe, unloved, unaccepted, unworthy etc. I have found for me, the key to managing my overly empathetic nature was to learn how to manage my energy body. I found the work of Wendy De Rosa very powerful in helping learn how to ground back into myself and be the master of my own energy body. Thank you Anita for bringing awareness to empaths, you offer such great insights and wisdom

I was born a empath. I've just started learning how to control my energy. I would absorb my family and friends energy, not taking there energy but I magnify they energy. I can feel there moods ,wants and needs. it would become my wants and needs( I didnt like that part or understand until I became older). I have always enjoyed my alone time. I understand so much more. Love has always been a huge part of my life. I've had so many battles. Thank you for letting me share. Thank you for your knowledge...🙂

Anita, Thank you for you insights, your wisdom. I particularly was touched by your "oxymoron", where when responding to a stressed out empath, you respond by feeling sorry for them. This made me think of people who just lost a loved one by feeling sad for them.
"Don't feel sad, bring positive energy, don't add to their sense of loss!". The same when taking care of your dog, when he barks at you, don't at energy to his barking by shouting, put him at ease and talk soothingly.

I scared the Sisters at the Catholic Hospital, as I entered this world with my eyes wide open. I overload myself , and this can be extremely challenging. Empathy has been my shadow from the first memories. I have 7 children and that has been one of my greatest joys. My 24 yr old daughter was shown to me in a vision that completely covered me in warmth, humor and a feeling like what going on inside when you get a surprise birthday party.. Her spirit was huge, I had no vision? but I knew that and Angel or Spiritual being brought her spirit to me as I almost lost her. Must stop here, too long to tell but yes Empathy is both friend and foe and still hanging around.

I got diagnosed with autism at 16, even though it was always something that people attempted to diagnose me with. It's a label that helped me get back in touch with myself, but I had to find other people who also shared the same label or identified with being autistic to realize that there was nothing wrong with me. I think autism is a lens that I can view my lived experience through, but in no way does it limit who I am as a person or what I'm capable of. It was just a portal back to getting in touch with my inner voice, and I don't define myself by it as much as I used to.
I've always been really sensitive to energy and feel emotions very intensely. I've also always struggled with being able to hide who I truly am. I can't hide my emotional expression or the way that I process the world. I believe that I got diagnosed with autism for a reason though, and ultimately I had to go through all of the struggles that came with having that identity at a young age so that I never strayed too far from myself. I came here to do something, and clearly those creative projects won't get done if I'm not in touch with my truest nature.
I really love your energy and I'm so happy that I came across your videos. Thank you for sharing yourself and your wisdom with the world 💖

Anita Moorjani, I am 58 years old, and I can honestly say, I was born an empath. I can feel the pain of others. Even when I watch a movie that seems so real to me, I will cry and cry, and it's not even real. But then I hear the voice in my head that says, "This could have been true for some people." Hence, these feelings stay with me for a long time at times.
I would give the analogy of being an empath as that of a full glass of water. In the glass are straws. There is a husband straw, a daughter straw, a straw for each of my sons, a straw for each of my 10 grandkids, etc.... As you can see it is endless. As the day goes on the straws draw from my water reserve. (I loving give freely to them). And I end up with no water for me. I feel selfish to even say that.
My first full sentence at 2 years old was, "I love everybody." I do also believe that this is something I agreed to come to Earth with.
On the other hand, my husband (Also 58 years old) has Aspbergers. I have never seen this man cry once! I am not sure he feels anything. He is hard to have conversations with because he has a hard time following what I am saying. When I use pronouns like, "he," "she,' etc.
He has no idea about how to be socially respectful to others. So for me, this is hard to deal with. On the other hand, he is giving, he would help family in need at a drop of a hat. I would have to say, in my opinion, that he did agree to come here with Aspbergers. With that said, my husband lost his father when he was only 24ish. And I also believe it hit him so hard that he developed OCD, and Hoarding.
If you have any time at all, (and trust me, I hesitate to ask since I know you are very busy) I would love to email you and ask you more questions. You and Danny are similar to us. Wife empath, husband Aspbergers.
Thank you Anita and Danny, I love love love you both so much.

MsEsther82 my husband is a genius as well. I hear you. Mad respect for them, and then they are so rude to someone you cringe.
How do I handle it? I look at him and think, "hug him, hold him, as if he was me. What would I need or want from my spouse when I am frustrating him, as he is frustrating me."
And then the answer is right before me. LOVE
      Peace and LOVE to you.

I agree with you. As a small child I was so sensitive to tv shows. I also was super sensitive to other people’s feelings. I love early morning hours to walk around our valley while everyone slept because the earth was quieter. I would even go into the woods to commune with the forest and wind. It took until my early 40’s to combat my brothers comments “It’s just a movie” with would you watch a movie of a child being graphically sexually abused?” His answer was no and said but it’s only a movie! Finally I could find the right defense.

For me being an empath is probably something I was born with. From early on I was too aware of my surroundings and able to tell when there are discrepancies. However, this trait caused me to ask a lot of questions including speaking up when I notice someone wasn't being truthful/logical. These weren't accepted by my family and I ended up learning to numb myself so that I could get along with them. The numbing lasted for many years before I finally exploded and all those feelings coming back as storms. I guess we just can't fake who we are. I would like to know different ways we can use this as an advantage.

I understand why empathic people like us can’t work too closely or too often with others now. But it took years for me to figure this out. I became an energy psychologist worked with hundreds of patients. Come to find out I’m very good at it but many people core issues was they had been touch sexually while they were children. After my last patient I stopped doing this work. I have now turned back to listening to Anita‘s work I’m so glad I did because I didn’t know she had a second book and what she’s been going through sounds like myself. You’re really transforming our lives truly appreciate it. I am like you, Anita. I feel other people's pain and emotions. I believe I was born this way. It is just how I am wired. It is very difficult being an empath. Like Danny, I have learned to discern if someone is attempting to manipulate me to get something from me. If I feel this is the case, I have nothing more to do with the person.

I was bullied by 2 of my sisters. I think I have a lot of stuff still to work out even though I am older. I am an empath and I have rescued I am sure over 100 animals and re-home many. I can't stand any of the news and have almost turned it all off to a degree. I dare not go on the main wall of FB because I know there are a lot of bad things on there as I have a huge group of animal lovers. I am learning to grasp my empathy and compassion. I think I was born with it because I have stories from when I was very young of how upset I got for particular events. I read someone state that they think compassionate people toward animals had some type of tragic event when they were younger and that's why they are like that. But that cannot be true. Because I have memories of being compassionate but nothing that I can think of that was some type of tragic event that made me that way. There's just no way. I use to tell my son even before I ever heard the word empath, "you are cursed" because he is just like me when it comes to animals or anyone being hurt etc. I know he had no tragic events in his younger life.
I can't watch movies that show things like you mentioned and I always thought I must be crazy because why would I be so upset over something that is not real?
Thank you for all you do.

I can speak only for myself that I came in with intuitive abilities. Paths I chose blocked it. Later in life I chose other paths and my skills have been expanding since. I experienced abuse and I think those that do are far more alert, as a protection mechanism, to pick up the "vibs" of others.

It's interesting when you talk about Danny feeling empathy but not wearing it on his physical body, because he's able to discern and compartmentalize what is his and what isn't, but that you can't.
I actually saw a TED talk where a gentleman explained the difference between a man and a woman's brain, because they actually function very differently.
A man's brain compartmentalizes everything and see's everything, their job, relationship, etc, as being completely separate from each other and not having anything to do with each other. Where as for women, we associate everything together. our minds see everything as being inter- connected, with everything being influenced by everything else. So that's why men won't see what your relationship has to do with his family, or his job, or his hobbies or anything else, because he views them all as completely separate.

WOW! I really needed this. It is hard to articulate how or why I am the way I am. "I" at a early age could/would not want to be around more than 2 kids/people at a time. (even today at 59) I hated ATTENTION and recognition to this day! Being in front of people was like being shot at from a sniper. Being around a bunch of people is like hearing multiple radio stations in my head. Psychic vampires? HOLY CRAP! I can pick up on them before I even get in a room. Talk about stress anxiety! ADHD was insane and still is. My brain switches from one thing to another without me even being aware till seconds or minutes later. Now I'm beginning to accept myself and think of myself a bit better. (I'm still single. go figure, RIGHT!)
Thanks Anita!!! It takes someone like you to talk about this that helps me recognise what I'm going through. I have never felt better about Life or myself when I help/love another that truly needs/wants help/love. Thanks again Anita! -Reed Portland, Oregon

Hello Anita. Thank you for being You! I feel empathy is a learned behavior: always feeling out for the vibes of the other person in order to adapt myself. So much so that I couldn’t always make out what belonged to the other and what belonged to me. Got lost in that....which was my wake-up call. Came in terribly handy though in my job: nursing.. My dad is limit Aspergers. He often has no idea of emotions of others. Is simply unaware...not being nasty. Just in his own little world. Note that he, at the age of 85, is feeling the Changes of these times too....

Hi Anita, I love your videos! They are helping me (an empath) alot.
Further to your sharing about living fully as an empath, I would like to offer a suggestion that has been making my life better.
In everyday life, specifically conversations, one thing that has helped me is : When I start to feel that a conversation is going in a negative direction, I 'pull back' a bit, and try to move it in a more positive direction. We are more connected to our higher selves when we feel good; our energy keeps renewing itself when we feel good. For me anyway, as a conversation begins to go negative, I start to feel my energy being drained. But I can take the responsibility for that by guiding the conversation. Instead of feeling like the other person is sucking my energy, I try to steer the conversation in a way that keeps my energy flowing.
It is a skill that I am learning and getting better at. It doesn't always work, but when it does, it's amazing and wonderful.

I feel like at least I part these things that have made me feel so different, I think much of what's going on including healing gifts is part of my lifetime souls journey. Very interesting to hear about Danny. Thanks for all you do.

Keep doing what you're doing Anita! It can be so healing to set ourselves free from someone who gets us down...yes, it could be a negative parent. It takes a lot of practice to develop a positive outlook on life and love ourselves!

Thanks for this Anita. Indeed empaths got the tendency to unconsciously carry the emotions of others sometimes mistaking its from them. Its why i enjoy having tons if "me" time. Loe those words "You bring yourself with you wherever you go." 💙⛅😊

Yes I believe we choose to come here at least for my path. I agreed to come and help our planet that earth was in trouble at this time. But I think as I got closer to the planet I started to backpedal. And then when I was born I died a few times under the age of three and then came back to life from asthma. But as infinite beings in human form we don’t remember our true self or the knowledge or the path that we came here to help gets buried like Anita’s says and you get distracted. And you get off your path. I believe the teenage years and hormones kept me off my path fully with relationships of men for a couple of decades. Louise Hayes work helped me when I was 30 and from then on in my 40s I learned about Wayne Dyer Abraham so many countless others. But I have enjoyed menopause because I have no distraction and now I can get focused back on to why am here. Until just 3 days ago looking for guidance someone said to me none of us are perfect we all have our own challenges and if you wait until you think you’re thinner or healthier or addiction free or whatever your issue is then you’ll be ready to share your work you’ll be too old and die lol so now I’m finally feeling like I’m getting back on track and listening to Anita again finding out she didn’t have it all together after her NDR even finding out recently she’s an empathic is so helpful this video is so helpful so thank you thank you thank you. Hearing her experience of all these people reaching out to her omg 😲 I feel n see it. Yes that would be too challenging for me as well.

Please be careful about saying aspergers might be learned. This view is what doctors held not so many years ago, and the blame was put on mothers (they were called refridgerator mothers, they supposedly were "cold" and unfeeling.) I have children with aspergers, and I myself has been subjected to this view, which broke my heart and made getting help really difficult. At the age of 12 my child finally got help from people who knew what autism really is! Aspergers is something you can spot even in babies in many cases. I always could tell my child was different. A lot of traits are learned, but aspergers is more than being very objective and not emotionally engaged. Love your vids btw :)

Beautiful Anita, thank you (again and again) for your lovely vídeos. I think what Danny picks up on people who may not really need help but act as if, is their will to take responsability upon themselves. Even the nay-sayers are those who cannot or don't want to deal with their own frustration. Again, resistance to self responsability, probably because they are too much entangled in shame or guilt.
As a life-long empath, what helped to start setting healthy boundaries was realizing that it isn't my right to rip the lessons of other people's challenges... So, letting them take on their due responsabilities became an act of love and trust. It is still a work in progress since, of course, what's with me that I have problems trusting other's ability to navigate successfully their own challenges? That is really what is in it for me.
Thank you again for your amazing energy and generous heart 🌹

Thank u for your WONDERFUL posts, it's really great to listen to them. I just recently found out that all the healing I've been through has been because of 2 mindsets that we're put on me at a very early age. I always come last and the 2nd was not being able to express what I feel. It has made me very empathetic towards others suffering because of all the things I've been through. So I think my empathetic abilities come from those 2 mindsets.

    I was born an Empath.
I was very sensitive as a child.
I was self protecting in ways. My Mom had a stillborn child 16 months before I was born.
I now know that has something to do with it.
Every Halloween I would only be a princess.
    Never anything scary.
My family tried to talk me into other things and I was very firm on Princess.

Dear Anita & Dan ~ Hello & thank you for putting up these videos. I can relate to everything you discuss & it feels so good to know that I not alone with these multiples experiences of life. ~ On the surface it seems everybody is caught up in the going / and doing & reacting .. I felt like such an oddball. Now I see myself as actually more developed. - Being able to tune in to one’s own inner being, is a game changer. ~ Setting up personal boundaries is another big time game changer. ~ As far as I know, I have left my body so many times, it was like a game for me. Looking back, I just call it astral travel, not NDE. ~ 🤗 ~ As for labels, well they can be helpful to look at something & separate it out, but in general, I find it does more harm than good. First to the person being labeled, and then because of the persons around him/ her who will now regard the person as “ different “. Worse, is to become enveloped in this label & take it on as yet one more identify. When in fact, it is not. We all have different ways of doing everything, & like Danny says, we entrain & respond to the people /environments around us. 😍💫👏🏼 I guess that’s it for now. 🍓😍💚✨👏🏼👏🏼 Sending warm regards 😃❤️😘 Merry

Anita, I feel that I was born an empath, knowing fully that I had these gifts but that I had to use (raised as I was in a family of logically-minded brothers (4) who were mistrustful of their only sister who happened to be the lone spiritual being who even now feel this lost gospel of Thomas resonate with me deeply as I see now the depth of my belief system that goes beyond dogma.

@30:30 some great insights being a parent to an empathic child. Teaching emotional understanding is the empowering state of being, touching up or other forms of denying these emotional states often is internally perceived as inner rejection.

thank you. as far as empath/aspergers nature nature question goes. I think that like plants, we can be born a certain type: tree, flower, bush.. and like a plant we can be shaped. we are constantly rewiring , pruning and recreating our minds. I think some are born more or less empathic and can wire the brain to be more or less depending on type we are. I am very empathic and sensitive and have boundary of self and body entanglements.

Anita, I was labelled as a child too. I worried about the world, death, old people, sick people. I got severly depressed when I lost my Dad, I was 35 yrs old. I had two spiritual experiences. People dismissed it off as imaginary.I took medecines for depression and became more clear than I ever was. I live in Australia now. My mum is in India . I was there trying to put things in place for her as she is anxious and depressed but my energy depletes very fast when I am with her.

Funny how my test also showed 36 for ASP and 72 for empath! I already thought so, since I feel what you yourself describe but also what you say about Danny's traits. I think though, that we are anywhere on a scale of these traits/qualities because we think in a linear way. Time is the checkpoint to see where we are in our developments and also to show us what our direction needs to be going forward. So the scale (or the label) shows me what I should focus on to express myself in the best way that suits me. We all have a personality shaped by this incarnation and its path so far. We are born into our bodies coming from source, so as to say our higher self's and this shines through in certain qualities that we express. It's like we have an outer layer that lets us shine through the holes we have been able to poke in it during this life. The more authentic we are, the more balanced we will become and the brighter the light can shine through. So I don't necessarily think we are born as empath or with aspergers, but it is just our closest expression to authenticity based on the way we have interpreted life so far. For example when I was little I had more traits of aspergers but because I was bullied and felt misunderstood, I made it my focus to develop skills to be noticed and loved. I became a pleaser and so I developed my empathic abilities and learned how to mirror and read people. Now I use both to be a healer and coach, which is what I'm here for! Thank you so much for sharing your insights and discussing these topics!
