For this size, I plan to buy a ctl mini and still prefer my makita 36v backpack for lighter uses. I think those 2 are the perfect combo for portability (and my tiny bosch 12v vac hehe)
why does the vacuum make the noise when you pull it back? i'm a tool novice who just bought a house with lead paint. i want something i just go around the house and vacuum friction points once a week. would you rec this, or maybe a dustless backpack model? the lead dust stays totally contained? (why is there dust where you take out the back?)
Dave's still a friend of all of us at The Tool Nut. He's been busy with family, work and his new hobby of running. So, we've not seen as much video from him. He's fairly active on Instagram though.
Is it recommended to be able to combine it permanently with a miter saw that I do little use? It would be ideal for its small size and low noise. What do you recommend? Thanks
The CT SYS can be used with a miter saw, however note that the capacity means that the bag may fill quickly. Unlike other dust extractors from Festool, the CT SYS does not have an auto-start feature. For that reason, you may want to consider the new CT 15 as an alternative.
Hi Mate, love your video :) I had just built an relay module for the CTL-SYS together with the Festool Bluetooth remote kit. Maybe you like to look at it. And this is really useful when on-site and go cordless. Thank you Take Care And Stay Safe

Which Festool model vacuum would you recommend for my 12 inch miter saw I use it daily and I need something mobile and light ?? Great video thanks
Very surprised to see that the US models are fully HEPA certified. Here in Europe they are not. Odd...

Man where has Dave been. Lost a lot of weight I see. Hope he is good health! He does a great job reviewing products!

Nu te strange ceasul?
Mine died on its year 4, used rather lightly maybe once a week for 30min. Died cutting with drop saw. Not impressed. Ordering bigger version.
Hi, is it recommended for MDF?
It can be used for MDF, yes.
@@toolnut не работает он нормально с мдф, забивается мешок
@@prelesno61 а вы можете что-нибудь порекомендовать? Спасибо

I would get the cyclone with it and the bag won’t fill up fast.
Циклон задерживает 20 % этой пыли. Он для крупных частиц.

@@toolnut Thanks for your answer. But is the CT 15 suitable for vacuuming the sawdust created by a miter saw?
@@lorpas6934 Yes, any of Festool's vacs would be suitable for miter saw dust collection, including the CT 15.
@@toolnut Very well! Now I try to hear from Festool Italy or some representatives! 😉
So the suction isn't adjustable, as in if you were sanding and wanted to reduce the suction?
I think the suction is less powerful than most vacuums, pretty sure its a 1hp vac.
You can shift the paper to partially match the holes in the pad.
hose corral for cord and hose is too small
Very helpfull video.Thank you.
“Blow your camera guy, pretty cool!” I’m not sure that’s so cool

Hi, is it available in 110 volts?
Dan, it looks like you might be in the U.K. We would suggest checking with Festool UK at festool.co.uk regarding availability in 110v.
Hi, ya I’m close- Ireland

I WANT THE LIMITED EDITION SANDER!!!!!!
I bought one when they came out and I use it daily, it’s a great sander.
Wish it was battery operated. Ill stick with my CT Mini.
Festool currently does not offer a cordless vac.

PROfloor-restore I literally laughed when he said that and knew!!! I knew there would be at least one comment about blowing the camera guy lol
