For example: On mondays the schedule is running in the sunday schedule. I saw the owner manual but i never had the option to change the date. What can i do???? Thanks

Yes, this thermostat works great. I was lucky saved like 200-300 Dollars since It worked fine and I didn't need a new one when my new furnace was installed. I still have yet to replace my AC, I was looking at a Heat Pump. I would recommend this thermostat, Less hassle. Not for sure on the Lennox brand, I have an Amana Furnace now. Honeywell vision pro 8000 has option to adjust cycles because no differential . Set it on 1 or 2 cycles per hour and no difference . AC continues to be ran by factory set of .5 degrees . Could be the wiring ?

TH8320R1003, i replaced the batteries.. 4 AA and 1(3volt) .. when i put back that 4AA batteries , i now get a "Remove all 5 batteries for 5 minutes" i did that and waited 10min, 30min, etc.. but as soon as i put 4AA batteries.. the screen show "Remove all 5 batteries for 5 mintues" i'm just wondering if you have seen this before.. thanks.
They have a newer version that has a color screen. RTH9600WF I’m planning on upgrading to this an doing a review soon. But The one I currently have is older and you needed the Redlink box for internet to use the app. Now Both thermostats should work with your set up no Problem, Make sure you have a C wire for power. Hope this info helps.

yes, thats correct, most of the time the C wire is run from the transformer on the furnace or air handler. it is often connected to the furnace control board.

Where did you need to enter the password to change the temperature? When I try to turn the A/C on I can get to system and hit cool and set a temp. But the temp never changes
@@Bella123- Only thing I can think would be a factory reset. I am not sure it has that option, you may have to leave it unplugged from base plate with no batteries for a while. I would look in owners manual best place to start. Sorry I couldn't help more haven't had the issue you described.

@@IndianaDiy Don't know why they would tell you that except they enjoy the service calls on all the malfunctions and making more profit selling it to you. We were all ex Military guys. K.I.S.S. keep it simple stupid and never sell or install this junk. We were in business from 1912 - 2017 so what would we know about it I guess. Since we retired this new run of HVAC techs are parts changers, con-artists, salesmen and crooks. They don't repair anything older than 12 years old and sell new. They don't know how to troubleshoot either. Never mind their cobbled up hack job installs. They never heard of a Pittsburgh machine, 8 foot brake, rotary machine bead roller or any thing else us old timer professionals used. Bend it up on a 2x4 and S-Lock it together..... I'm not a fan and I don't endorse any of their ideas or work. We were a G.E. dealer before Trane and G.E. merged. We then became a distinguished Trane dealer and remained so through the American Standard and Ingersoll Rand mergers as well.
The AC or your blower fan? You may need to chk your wires and make sure they are connected properly and chk your fan setting make sure it is not set to on. Other than that if it continues to do that something is not connected right or cross connected. I would get that fixed before your bill is sky high. Also if everything is connected right is it a older ac system it may need charged coil could be froze over or something else.

@@nateword Auto turns it on when needed, Circ turns on every so many minutes and runs for a set time and shuts off until the A/C turns on. So auto I use a lot, But if you have allergies than Circ setting is best as long as you have some really good filters.

sorry I don't have any secrets to tell I think that's just because when I filmed it was Winter and that humidity gauge may not be reading correctly. you're better to actually have smaller humidity gauges or temperature and humidity gauges in each room if you really want to know the specifics for each room. I have always found the temperature and humidity varies from room to room because of the size of the room the air flow to the room, there are also other factors depending on how the AC or furnace system is piped or where the vents are.

Hello. Question- how far in advance does the system kick on before the schedule time. For example let's say my wake time is 6am. Is it supposed to kick on at 6am or will it come out in advance of 6am. Thanks.
It would be nice if someone would tell everyone how to change the batteries. All the videos tell you how to take the faceplate off but not how to change batteries. The battery compartment says "Do not remove" but those 4 AA batteries are what has to be replaced. And it is almost impossible to remove the batteries anyway since the compartment holds them in on both sides. It's my guess that the people who put these videos on RUclips don't know how to change the batteries either.
Mine originally didn't come with batteries, and I put my own in. I assume the new ones are just set up to not be replaced and use the C wire for power.
Easy open the unit, take out the batteries. They are just AA, plus if you have a "C" wire hooked up you may not even need the batteries except to back up clock or settings.
How do you find the MAC ID on this because it’s my dads house and I can’t find the Manuel but it also said that I can find it in the message center but I can’t seem to get to that screen with the message on it
Wow, That's a interesting question. The MAC Id is probably auto assigned by the Redlink internet Hub unless the model has a built in WIFI it should be printed some where inside the thermostat or possibly be printed on the main board of the thermostat. It also could be in a Menu on the thermostat. Sorry if that's not very helpful I don't have my thermostat internet connected.

The cycles could be being controlled by the equipment. Not for sure. Double check the wires and if it continues try factory reset on thermostat.
The thermostat is stuck on 99 degrees -- should I just do a factory reset?

Redlink requires internet box to work , sold separately. I believe it's always on for phone app control..

It is a smart thermostat. But I'm not sure you will be able to use it with any nest product as it has its own system called redlink.

I don't think so, batteries also power unit if no C wire is available.

The memory battery. That should last quite a long time, I have not had it go bad yet. It should show on display when battery dies.

Red = Power

Green = Fan/Blower
Yellow = A/C
Blue = Common or 24 volts (optional with less overly complicated thermostats).
Buy a Honeywell PRO4000 programmable and throw away this junk!

During initial start up I only set 2 day periods. How to reset to 4 day periods. Thank you.
You can go back into the "Menu" and "Edit schedule".

My unit has 4 AA batteries and one replaceable lithium battery is that what your referring too. Those just pop out shouldn’t be hard.

From reading, looks like you just need a "C" wire or a power source for 24VAC that the "C" would provide. If you fire it up, post an update..

Low battery alarm won’t shut up on this thing . Even after I changed them to new “alkaline” batteries.

You may have to do that, I have never had a problem with the low battery indicator being stuck on.

Best to research the thermostat throughly before you buy it. Redlink is a communication between the thermostat an sensors or internet gateway.

sorry I don't have any secrets to tell I think that's just because when I filmed it was Winter and that humidity gauge may not be reading correctly.

+SuthenGirl it turn on right a 6am, it does start early. I know some do I think Nest will do that.

You would probably want to look in the settings. I am not sure what exactly you're trying to change.
Does this thermostat not have a MAC ID or CRC ID?
Not that I'm aware of you have to have the redlink internet box to get it to work. That would be where your Mac address would be at.
It's not a wifi thermostat. It uses a different radio frequency. You have to get another piece of equipment to do that internet stuff.
