My thermostat is this model and it says not communicating meaning wi fi is not connected but when I go thru settings in menu there's no wifi setup selection so how do I reconnect?
Would anyone know how to just program it for a set amount of hours for a business? We want a standard schedule of 9-6 but not sure how to work it as it still goes off at night any help is appreciated.
i replaced the battery on my unit.. TH8320R1003.. now the screen shows.. "REMOVE ALL 5 BATTERIES FOR 5 MINUTES" so i did and waited 10min, 30min.. etc.. and as soon as i put the battery back. same message in the screen.. Any idea why it's doing this.. i have looked online to see if anyone has seen this before.. even read the manual but no info.
I would like to know why Honeywell doesn't warranty their product directly to the consumer. In order to get the 5 year warranty the stat has to be installed by a pro HVAC contractor. Really hard to replace 2 screws and 4 wires. Need to pay double-for the stat and the install.
Really! Well because you don't have the expertise, or knowledge to configure the tstat properly! Just by your statement of what you believe is involved in a tstat replacement, and proper configuration. Is the reason they (Honeywell) will not warranty there Pro Series tstats. Unless, you are an HVACR pro Contractor. Now, have you had any problems with your stat? I hope you don't. But if you do.......I wouldn't worry. I'd say you got what you paid for! Why do you want the manufacture to take the loss? Your like alot of customers out there. They call because their either, burning up, or freezing to death. And they always say. "There's something wrong with the tstat, I think!" Well, maybe so. But in 90% of the cases, it's not! Because, that's all they know about what's going on with the thermodynamics in there home! All they know is that box on the wall. With the 2 screws, and the 4 wires. Keeps them comfey, and that's about it! And I'm ok with that because. I'm there to find out why their equipments not working. Repair the problem, try to understand what caused the failure. To keep it from happening again. And move along to the next call. In a timely fashion. Been doing it for almost 40 years! But I must say that what gets my blood pressure elevated. Is when some amiture thinks that they can go on line. Buy a piece of equipment that took the people who made it, almost 25 years of R&D to have it do the things it does! And then you want to belittle the people who know the proper way to have this device keep you, and your's not only comfortable. But save you a ton of money, the way it can do it? When properly configured! When was the last time you even had your hvac system serviced? Did you do that yourself to? When was the last time you changed your air filter? See if the mfg of your HVAC units warranty will cover it's replacement. If you can't provide documental record of service, done on that unit! Hope you saved enough money on your DIY tstat project. To cover the cost of repair, or replacement! LMAO! Good Luck, Ms.
@@kylew.jarratt4543 Did you pay any attention in English class when you were in school?!! "amiture" - really??!!! I would question your credibility based on your spelling and grammar. Take remedial English!
I figured it out. Mine is the same model, doesn't have the date/time option and doesn't respond to tapping on the date. Take the thermostat off the wall, remove the CR2032 battery, remove any AA batteries, then reinstall the CR2032 coin battery and AAs. You'll get a prompt that says there are "2 alerts", tap on that and follow the prompts. It will ask you to set the date/time. Cheers.
@@DJEdwardsJr Thanks had the same issue with mine. Yours is the only thing that worked. Annoying that I have to do this everytime daylight savings time rolls around.

Our thermostat only shows off and cool when we press system. How do I get "auto"?
These Honeywell thermostat has to be the worst invention monopoly ever, its like they design them to be as complicated as possible.
How can load up more grades to the heat like 80 or 90
What does the indoor temp setting do?
There are no "corresponding tabs above"
How can’t I lock the screen,
Question how u do the auto mode?
You select it.
Mine heats up when cooling is on. Annoying

There is no "date/time" options on this model, lol.
figured it out by 'chatting' with honeywell: pull it off wall, put it back in and it will fix itself :)
