Although Protestantism is the main religion now in Korea, eastern asian cultures in general have been heavily influenced by Buddhism; the idea of reincarnation and karma is found all throughout their folklore and traditions and often referenced even by people who don't necessarily believe in it from a religious standpoint simply because it's a sort of historically intregal part of their culture.
I recommend "Blood Sweat & Tears" . The lyrics of the theme are inspired by Hermann Hesse's Demian.
The music video contains a lot of foreshadowing, including religious paintings.

I feel you listened to a lot of pop songs from BTS. I personally would be curious to see you also know them individually. This way when you see all 7 on the stage, you feel you know them and you notice different things. I will give my suggestions:

I love that you made the connection with the dance moves showing DNA. There are a few other references too. I always thought about this video in terms of science- DNA, lots of straight lines, graphs, mathematical equations and the explosion of colours like chemical reactions. But you are right about the elements of religion mixed in there. Science and religion - I like that. I agree with you. I can't recall my life without my kids either. Thank you!
Reincarnation, fate, and predetermination is a big thing in Asia. You should try getting into K-dramas (watch with your wife!)💜

There is always more to BTS songs than a first glance might indicate. I love the depth of their music and lyrics. BTS music is for an intelligent audience but written in such a way that it still appeals to those who are not interested in the deeper meaning. Thank you for your reaction.

Esse álbum é o primeiro álbum da trilogia "love yourself" do BTS.
Ao longo da trilogia, eles narram uma história em 3 atos, vou colocar a descrição que achei na internet desses álbuns, mas com certeza eh ainda mais profundo:
The first part is about their experiences of loving “Her”, the second part is about the tears and pain they experienced from loving “Her”; and the third part is about *how they realised that they need to learn to love themselves first before they can truly be the best person for themselves and others*
Depois de Her na verdade BTS lançou um álbum japonês, que seria uma despedida as ARMYS, e recentemente também descobrimos que algumas faixas em TEAR também remetem aos desafios de continuar como um grupo
De toda forma, meu ponto com esse comentário é dizer que essas músicas, e mensagens marcaram muito minha vida, e carrego no corpo (tatuagem) esse lembrete de amar - e ser gentil - a mim mesma antes de tudo.
Você já escutou a single da 2 parte dessa trilogia, FAKE LOVE, e acho interessante te dizer que cronologicamente DNA vem primeiro com esse sentimento de amor, e FAKE LOVE fala de como esse amor acabou se transformando em outro sentimento

Geralmente eles não entram muito nesse assunto de religião, alguns podem ser cristãos... Mas certeza mesmo só o Namjoon que ja deixou claro que é ateu (mas ainda assim, vai em templos budistas). E vc está certo tudo se tratando de BTS tem um significado e tudo esta interligado de alguma forma nos minimos detalhes, inclusive em roupas que usam ou ensaios fotograficos que façam eles sempre tem uma mensagem pra passar e geralmente existem várias teorias sobre essas mensagens. Vc tá começando a entender a loucura que o ARMY vive kkkkkkk💜

É uma história que envolve voltas no tempo e outras coisas (um pouco inspirado no filme Efeito Borboleta, aliás, eles tem uma música chamada Butterfly). E a história é tão boa e intrigante que criaram até uma série sobre ela que foi lançada esse ano, com 12 episódios (chamado Begins Youth), além de um webtoon (chamado Save me, lançado em 2019 se não me engano) e algumas notas que foram lançadas junto com os albuns.
I think it is too soon for Bangtan Universe. It's a fictional story, that has nothing to do with the members real life, and it would take him so much time to get through it, when he has so much music and live performances to see in my oppinion. He makes 1-2 posts every week, so for so many weeks he should just follow basically a kdrama story that goes through BTS music videos, and that s not enough, he needs the webtoon, notes, maybe explanation videos. I've been a fan for a long time and I needed an explanation video to get through all that.
