He is not a fan, nothing related to modern music, but his daughter made him listen to BTS songs, and he said to me, BTS songs are deep and have meaning. And that makes them different than many other artists in these modern days. I was super proud and told him: of course (even though i don't speak Korean), they are the best artists in the planet right now 😊
The year prior when this song was made -2 idols took the worst decision because of a hate campain against them. Even if it seems that BTS is loved because they are so famous there were and still are huge hate campains against them, many by other groups fanbases that feel they favourite doesn t have a chance at awards because of bts, and many were coordinated by those groups company (somehow in secret). BTS were from a small company and they made it mostly because of fans support, because the whole media was against them as they didn't have influence and didn't pay their way off to shows, TV channels and all. Because the fans were their main way to succes is what made their relationship with fans so amazing and why they treat their fans as "part of their group" as they say and always mention army at every award possible.
About that history that you share us, kpop have a similar sad history, from Shinee group Jong-Hyun pass away for himself due to all the hate, and that's is wy ARMY protects our guys to much, because we can't save him.
I have been binging your bts reactions and wanted to say that I love the input you provide in each video! I had no clue about the Whindersson Nunes situation but it broke my heart to hear the story, and even more so when I looked it up on my own after watching. Your videos are always so personal and informative, and I really appreciate them :)

People hate celebrities because they're famous and rich and they have to put up with all this hate because "they knew what they signed for". But being famous is a burden for most people. And they're rich, sure, but they put a lot of work into what they do and are scrutinised all the time, having barely any private life. Most artists would love to have the money for their work but not the fame Someone told me once, about BTS, that they traded respect and privacy for fame when they signed their contract. Like...what the hell is that mentality? Just because they wanted to make music and made it they should put up with this shit? Just because some people are delusional and jealous? Every celebrity should be treated as a human. Every human should be treated with respect

I remember their faces from when they attended the funeral of Kim Jong-Hyun from SHINee. That footage still haunts me to this day. 😢
