- What would happen if Thanos from the Marvel universe, was suddenly teleported into the Star Wars universe, from the original series? Would be survive? How would he survive? What would be his weaknesses and who could he ally with? And to keep things interesting, he cant bring his Infinity gauntlet, and especially not with any of the Infinity Stones. Otherwise its not even a question, of course Thanos would win if he had the gauntlet and stones.....deeerrrr!

Incorrect, even if thanos still had the infinity gauntlet the infinity stones do not work outside their home universe, an example is in the marvel/DC crossover comic where darksied had the gauntlet but it didn't work because it was outside it's home universe.

@@vibraniumshield7383 yes he was in a separate dimension but the same universe. In the DC/Marvel cross over, Darkseid found the Infinity Gantlet and tried to use it. He couldn't and then it was explained that it and the Infinity Stones could only be used in their respective universe.
Your forgetting just how smart and charismatic Thanos is. This is a being with a devout cadre of followers (The Black Order,) and at least two races of beings under his authority (the Chitauri and the Outriders.) And this was done after his time as scientist before Titan's collapse. In the time it would take someone to find him, he would have built an army and have started to develop his attempts at countermeasures against the force. Give him time, and he'll build his own empire with an iron fist. Palpatine would have to take him out immediately in order to stand a chance.
Luke alone, might be able to talk him being a warlord, much the way Adam Strange did in the comics, but that's the only other way I see things going.

Lightsabers deal damage through heat. They melt or burn through things. Thanos tanked a blast of lightning from Thor. Lightning reaches a temperature of 30000 Kelvin. If lightsabers are not as hot as Thor's lightning, then they shouldn't be able to damage Thanos. Additionally Thor (barely) survived the full force of a neutron star, which typically have a surface temperature of 600000 Kelvin, however it didn't appear to even break his skin. Assuming Thanos has durability comparable to Thor, he could also withstand 600000 Kelvin. If lightsabers aren't as hot as a neutron star, then they may not be able to damage Thanos.
Edit: Because lightsabers instantly cut through flesh, I would assume that means that it is instantly vaporizing said flesh. According to redditor "Ninetofivehero", flesh should vaporize at 3735.15 Kelvin, meaning lightsabers are at least that hot.

According to George Lucas, Lightsabers can cut through pretty much anything except for other lightsabers and some very specific metals that he approved the creation of because he realized he had written himself into a corner with a weapon that could cut through anything. Basically the only thing that protects targets from them is plot armor.

So can lightsabers cut through Vibranium? When George Lucas says these kinds of things he is talking about the Star Wars universe. Thanos is not from the Star Wars universe so a statement from Lucas means jack shit.
Thanos is smarter than a super genius. He could definitely build a ship on a deserted island. And stormbreaker basically brings Thor past hela’s stregnth levels close to Odin or even surpassing Odin. So I don’t think a force push from any of the characters would be as strong as his lightning.

If the Galactic Empire had all six stones they would defeat Thanos, Rebel Alliance, Yuuzhan Vong, New Jedi, Snoke and invade other galaxies. Nothing will stop them.

I think you underestimated Thanos intelligence. In the comics he has built his own spaceships, taken out many enemies with tactics instead of strength, able to figure out puzzles no one else could, and change the thoughts of others through reason alone. Plus so much more. It appears to be that way in the movie as well (except the engineering part). So if it took the empire years to find the rebel base on Hoth. I think It would take years for the empire to find Thanos. Even if he was dropped in a populated planet controlled by the empire. Thanos would use his intellect to evade the empire until knowing when to attack. The emperor took power through politics. Thanos built his own army and destroyed planet civilizations by sheer will. I think Thanos would figure out the star wars universe and dominate his way through it by his superior intelligence. Cheers

They showed Thanos just as smart in the movies as the comics by working behind the scenes and controlling other powerful players. Showing that he was able to take out civilizations without massive super weapons. Knowing Gamora had betrayed him when she first found the soul stone and the way he manipulated her to take him to it and retrieve it. Thanos is brilliant in the movie. Him being dropped in the star wars uni would be jarring for him for maybe 2 days max. But he knows how to evade and avoid being captured (all great leaders know when to retreat). Giving himself the time to figure shit out and then take charge.
It is also cannon that between the og movies is three to five years. Giving Thanos lots of time to build up an army or convince the rebels to work with him. Hell he would take out Jabba and use the underground crime network to gain massive amounts of power between films. That would be awesome to see. @@Theokal3
Meh, that's speculation at best; it's not like the characters in Star Wars are stupid; Palpatine himself is a brillant political mastermind and has the Force. Plus we're talking about having to learn new technologies and entire new laws in a different universe; even a genius like Thanos would have troubles with that.@@vantooner

Also, how about Dante from DMC in the MCU? Let’s say during the events of, say, Doctor Strange. A half-demon would likely attract attention. Would he have to possibly fight Doctor Strange? What would his arsenal be? He still has access to his styles, so he could clone himself, teleport, deflect any one attack at a time and redirect it, and of course stop time. I think he’d be able to use quite a lot of tech and magical items incredibly well and in some crazy cool ways.

And I’d go for probably soon after 3 so that he’s not already stronger than almost everyone in the MCU. Granted he could likely handle every Avenger and potentially every official team, but there would still be some threat in the form of guys like Thanos, Dormammu, et cetera...

If Thanos was dropped into the Star Wars universe during the prequel trilogy (especially the Clone Wars), Palpatine might actually have Thanos be general for the Sepratists instead of Grievous.
Thanos is so far beyond physically and mentally than almost any species in star wars, he can shatter the arm of lightsaber user before they even knew it, he is frightening with his reaction time.
He single handly defeated Hulk without using even one stone and more powerful than Ebony Maw who defeated Doctor Strange with Time Stone

Scarlet Witch's tk is different than the force. It can break down strong materials easier than the force but less versatile. If Vader was caught up in Scarlet Witch's tk, he very well could die from having his life support system crushed. Ask Ultron how having nearly indestructible armor went against SW.

The ability to wipe out half of all life is insignificant to the power of the force. People are saying Thanos is being underestimated, but the only force power being mentioned is force push. That’s not the only power the force allows, there’s much more. Though the many powers of the force may not be more powerful against the infinity gauntlet, they definitely do stand a chance

Regarding force push / levitation - just look up general Grievous. He was really nerfed in films, but in animated series he was he example on how to deal with force users.

I think if this video came out after Endgame, it would have had more confirmation to some of Thanos’s strengths and weaknesses when in the SW universe.

Thanos’ greatest strength isn’t anything physical, it’s his brain. He wouldn’t take on the emperor by the end of the movie he would wait until he knows everything about everyone then strike. He would build an army turn the empire against himself. He would make Darth Vader come against himself and outwit him or even worse turn him against the emperor. Vader has shown he’s willing to go against the emperor. There’s no way he’s taking on the emperor at his strongest he’s waiting for him to be at his weakest alone and desperate and that’s when he’d seize his moment

Force lightning is not the only thing a Sith Lord can use. There is also the force choke. The Sith can force choke him to death by cutting his air supply or making his head explode.

The infinity stones wouldn’t do any good in a faraway galaxy, unless the force and the force of the dark side actives them.
The only way to kill thanos is probably a star destroyer focusing all their turbo laser fire at him. Or anything larger of course.
Thanos' greatest asset is TIME. Being immortal, he could afford to spend centuries traveling the galaxy - gaining knowledge and amassing power. He would easily learn about lightsabers and the Force, and research ways to neutralize both. Thanos never commits to any plan hastily, nor from a place of weakness.

Even if Thanos did bring the gantlet it wouldn't work. The Infinity Gantlet only works in it's own universe. Darkseid got ahold of the Infinity Gantlet in the DC/Marvel cross over and he couldn't use it because of that reason.
The crazy thing is that this can ACTUALLY happen because Disney owns the rights to BOTH franchises so they could ACTUALLY do this one day!

*OK this might sound crazy but imagine a Star Wars Marvel crossover:*
FIRST THING, Star Wars happens "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away." That means they're in the same universe, and the characters from Star Wars couldn't possibly be ruined as they'd be long gone by then.
How I see it play out would be that some people in the Star Wars universe would have to leave their home galaxy for some reason in a HUGE spaceship that runs on coaxium, and that after a REALLY LONG TIME, when generations have passed and they barely even know where they come from, they arrive in the Milky Way, on Earth. They send smaller ships and then ya know, crazy crossover stuff happens.
I mean, Disney owns both Star Wars and the MCU, so it could be done easily. But also, the universes fit very well together; the Force is basically magic, like in Doctor Strange or others. The Force Ghosts are very reminding of the Astral Dimension in the MCU, like in Doctor Strange or with the Soul Stone. The spacial aspects of the 2 franchises are similar, like the different ships that go around, the planets, etc. Snoke and Thanos... Idk I felt like I had to draw the comparison lol. Each have their own minerals and stuff; Star Wars: kyber, coaxium, phrick, the Dark Side attuned mineral mentioned in the video. MCU: uru, yaka, vibranium, adamantine, adamantium, Tony Stark's new element, quantum erergy and such, (now if ever Marvel/Disney bought DC's characters) kryptonite, amazonium. Each have their own species, and both seem to have an oddly large amount of humanoid ones. Thor's Bifrost travel and Hyperspace travel, etc.
*See, there's so many connections that make the universes so similar, and it would be pretty easy to connect them, without even ruining anything in the process. It would be cool if everyone shared the idea over to Bandit so he could make a video about it (I wouldn't mind credit but it doesn't matter if I do get it), so please upvote and share this. @@ChrisF-pr3ld Well it doesn't have to be MCU vs Star Wars. The idea is that the MCU is *MUCH* more flexible, and it won't be as easily ruined by just throwing an entire other franchise in (like the X-Men and how they're being added in). Star Wars, on the other hand, wouldn't really work with the MCU (not the same atmosphere). That's why the Star Wars galaxy BILLIONS of years later, at the same time as the current MCU, would fit in.

Palpatine is way too arrogant and self-important. His first instinct would be to send an elite assault team to kill Thanos, giving the titan a heads-up and giving the light side users time to track him.
In the comics, the Gauntlet doesn't work outside its own universe. Even if he had it, it'd be worthless.
