Wow!...I was almost fooled to think that this was some place in Samburu or Tsavo! Nice to see the other side of NNP. Just like any other game park, this place is best when it greens up in the rainy season and the lush savanna and shrubs attracts even more grazers.
Ololo lodge looks really impressive. On the contrary though, I think Nairobi national park stands out for it's uniqueness. It's the only park in the world within the city limits; the animals are in their natural habitat of 117km² area, it's not a zoo. Again for me, I think the city skyline backdrop makes it even more enticing. It offers luxury and wilderness at the same time and a haven for great photography!
Excellent vlog and review. Ololo looks like a good place to rest up for a day or two after a long flight from the U.S. west coast before heading on to other adventures.
Nairobians just don't appreciate how lucky they are to have this right next to one of the largest cities in Africa. They say there are not enough parks and green spaces in city centre? This more than makes up for it.
Drinking coffee has a lot of benefits. And Tracey seems to love taking it, meaning she is left with lots of such benefits. Not sure whether Mani also loves taking ☕ too..Did i see him sipping a cup of the beverage?
The balcony is quite stunning 🎉 I know George loves Land Cruisers too, he is just pretending. Your dinner was mouth-watering, tantalising eeeeeish! 💯You guys are killing us!🎉 Is the wine cellar free?😅 I look forward to visiting the family suite one day. Ololo you better be prepared.
Hi love you both and your fabulous Vlogs. I'm from India and loved your Indian Vlogs. Your vlogs from Africa are just superb. A bit of advice please. We are a senior couple and would like to go on a safari to Africa - Maasai Mara, Serengeti or wherever you think would be ok for us seniors. Please suggest with Lodges and approx cost from Nairobi and Back. Cost is also a concern but not at the cost of comfort. Regards, love and all the best for what you are doing.
Thank you so so much! Best camp in Kenya is Ishara (more expensive) Mid-tier any Elewana camp in both Kenya and Tanzania and amazing Low-budget look for Emayian Luxury Camps Sadly prices change all the time and are very different for resident, none resident and time of the year so I can't really tell.
Oh wow this is beautiful! Thank you so much for this...must check it out. BTW somethings wrong with the vlog about Tracys sister first safari. Not showing on feed and we cannot comment. If I handnt seen it here, never would have known it existed. Cheers.
We work with business to create our video right and to be honest not hotel camp restaurant or any business have ever approched us from there... But we will come at some point.
To be fair there isn't much of a safari in the Western part of Kenya but I'm sure he could try some hotel reviews like Imperial, Impala sanctuary in Kisumu and ofcourse lake Victoria, largest lake in Africa and second largest in the world. Kakamega rainforest and probably the Rift valley highlands with their panoramic tea plantations.
I was terribly disappointed with the lodge. Airplanes flying overhead day and night. There are earplugs next to the bed so guests can sleep at night. Not what you want when going to a Safari Lodge. More disappointing is that they offered to only refund 40% of the total after I checked out day 1 of 3. Absolutely ruined my Kenya trip.
That I do agree with... The planes are not ideal at all but like we said in the review, we would only suggest that camp for people who are not able to leave Nairobi during a short stay.
Of late I have been watching a lot of videos, but I find it difficult to find the "next" video specially your older videos, just a suggestion can you be numbering them for ease of reference, big fan, they are amazing n informative..btw have you n Tracey considered ACTING probably in a movie or web series ? You would make an amazing pair...best of wishes from @princessproductions
These couples i suspect something fishy with them how comes they know all these place and travel the whole country as millionaire who does that even elon musk suffers all day in offices but he has all those money but cant enjoy life like MANIS
Loll I suffer all day Monday to Friday in a windowless office! The. Work on our aocial media every evening and work to make content like this for camps and hotels every weekend. So we have 2 jobs! Don't believe everything you see on social media! Loll
It's just a matter of planning and focus. Granted, safari holidays don't come cheap and most folks plan it for years and most as a retirement treat. The advantage of living and working in Kenya and with all these attractive lifetime adventures nextdoor, most expats immerse themselves into sampling every aspect of Kenya's safari goodies. To me, the Manis are just optimizing their limited expat life in Kenya for memorable lifetime experiences that most folks only see in documentaries. I would do the same if I were posted in an exotic work location like Kenya!
Why are you so negative, what's your problem? He puts in a lot of work just to make sure the videos are up as per schedule and all you could do is troll them? Get outta here!

This place looks stunning. Perfect for a romantic getaway. The farm to table concept is amazing.
I fully agree! Great stay.

Nice video, your editing is excellent. I know Ololo is on JKIA flight path, what did you think of the noise???
Definitely noticeable but nothing that would ruine your stay.
hey Dave ,,,mind sharing the camera you use for shooting
Sony a7siii
If I'm in Nairobi for a week what is the next closest safari lodged you would recommend.
Just go to the Masai Mara. Its a 4 and a half hour drive or a 45 minute flight.
🔥🔥🔥
Cheers

During summers?
There is tones of wildlife in Kenya literally year around. We've tried every single month and had great success every time.
