waiting for a documentary where the whole thing isnt about the narrator's experience tracking the wolves and instead about the wolves actually being wolves
Tru but the intro states that this would be the case
I think so to and he needs to give them more space if he wants to know what they really look act like.
I’m still waiting till that day arrives.
This vid is so fake. That was a dog barking not a wolf
THANK YOU!!!!!!! OMG I AM SO ANNOYED! "I'm like Sir we came to see wolves NOT hear about your WOLF EXPERIENCE!"
When you click on a wolf video hoping to see wolves
* camera crew stands over wolf and its kill in the forest *
'Some wolves are getting dangerously close'
-.-
@@georgeshelton6281 wth r u talking about?
@ichibanski8 IT'S ABOUT WHO'S CAPABLE of doing what. Which person in real life ever does that? Keep wolves as house pets.
@@georgeshelton6281 i can see it working out in very specific scenarios. But in general, wild animals belong in the wild, and people need to stay away from them and protect their habitats so they can thrive and live in peace. Was that your point too? It was delivered in a very confusing fasion..
@@IvanDaGrVIII It's also about how blunt the G.I. Joe animation crew members are sometimes. Have they found out what the real world is like?
That guy almost lost his whole face 😬
It's a NAT GEO Wild channel. Why the need to have this host?? It should be a documentary about wolves.
The show was less about wolves and more about being anti wolfdog ownership, an agenda wanting to scare the public.
Absolutely not. The wolf was showing clear signs of stop touching me and both the men kept “playing” with the wolf. Also, they didn’t even bother greeting the wolf correctly. You go in don’t pay attention to the wolf stand or sit and when you are ready bring the wolf to YOU that’s why the wolf was showing aggression.
You don't know better than someone who's been dealing with wolves for years. That wolfdog looked like it wanted to play.
Their dogs not wolves
Interesting film but many inaccuracies. Just one example: The comparison of Yellowstone wolf-bear interactions vs BC coastal wolves-bear interactions (part of film when wolf pack trees the bear) is misleading. The Yellowstone situation is wolves vs Grizzlies (or Brown) Bears, the film shows a BC Black Bear being treed by the wolves. Grizzlies will stand their ground to wolves but Black Bears will tree every time. And the wolves in the film were not stalking the black bear for food, they were just trying to intimidate it away from their beach.
I've never thought about even seeing some thing like this , seeing Wolf's Fishing .
It was later rumoured that the kayaker was feeding it from his sleeping bag or at the very least had the scent of food on him.and that two of the wolves were hybrids that had been human raised and released on the island thus were use to humans feeding them.
That’s a dog barking, not a wolf howling. Jesus.
Definitely, also Orcas island belongs to Washington state and is off it's Anacortes coast, so hmmm
Wolves can bark but, they only do it as a waring sign to alert their pack about danger. However, it did sound like a dog.
I had a high content wolf dog .she was almost 16 had her from 6 wks old and she never barked.
I wonder as we learn more about wolf dogs - if we will learn more about how this could be. I don’t understand why ppl bred them together. It’s insightful to know more.
@@nefarioustraveler9493 I had a high content wolfdog from 6 weeks old. She lived to 15 years and 8 months old. I absolutely loved her yes they are different but very loving animals. She would take food from my mouth. She got scrambled eggs and hamburger every Sunday. She came in the house at times she was very loving to me. But they are not for everybody you somewhat have to live your life around their life
If your gonna have a host on a documentary about anything. You should at least have someone that's good at immersing the viewers into whatever hes talking about.
So cool yes! This is so badass...my favorite animals.
LMAO of course the wolf dogs will see the fuzzy mic windscreens as toys. Any wolf dog owner would know that and wolf daddy sure should have known.
THERE'S PROBABLY LIKE 10 GUY'S BEHIND HIM WITH GUNS...
Thank you always love to learn about wolves
Climbs with zero tools, the old fashioned way, to a freshly made platform. Why not use what the construction crew used?
You can tell right off the bat that's not a pure wolf, it's a wolf-dog hybrid... Wolves do not bark like that to an intruder, that's dog behavior...
wolves do actually bark; it's usually meant as a warning for something not to come any closer. wolves make a variety of sounds including barks, whines, yips, howls, huffs and growls
Thought you knew sumn 😂😂😂😂nope
Wolves do bark to warn their pack. That is literally where the barking in dogs came from. This was selectively bred to be reinforced
It's a Woolfdog not a pure breed of Timberwolves
Captive wolves are also usually afraid of people unless they were pulled from the mother and bottle fed.
I’d love to debate this guy in public sometime
mostly afraid from foreign people but not from their bottle feeders....
@@damaslpressath I raised my Wolf to be loving, caring & BottleFeed Foreigners.
It's a total trick but highly effective.
The kayaker, just laying out on the beach. Nothing like presenting yourself, as Food. 🤦
I petted Alaskan wolf in Central Park, owned by a cool guy and it was the greatest experience of my life!
I love wolves! They are beautiful! ❤
I love Wolves.
No I love wolves more
They truly are, my fiancé is Obsessed with them
So am I.@@shimerrill967
Fantastic documentary, i love Wolves.
They are awesome creatures
But They're Wild and Very Dangerous.
At 22:49, what GoPro housing case are they using on the chest mount or what type of lens is being used for the GoPro? It has two buttons or screws on another side of the lens.
A wolf will always test you. I had one that was burned on his back. As I used to slide the food and water to it I started sliding the food and bringing the water so he could sniff my hand. Then I started petting him. Until he snapped at my face. I was so scared that I didn’t get back to him for a week. Then he did it again and I left him without food this time. When I came back he actually got happy and I couldn’t believe it. He figured it out pretty quick. No me, no food. We became best friends until he passed in 1994.
That was two different packs he was dealing with on the shore. The first pack was a half breed pack, the second one was a wolf pack.
Yea, I was kinda wondering that myself being as Wolfs don't bark.
There are no wolfdogs taking over Canada. It’s fake. Even high content wolfdogs don’t bark.
uffff....some wolves can bark...but more like "depressed?" kind of wofff, wufff but i am not sure if this barking of that Vancouver island, i think are pure wolves....
Wolves should teach people a lesson to NOT MESS WITH THEM
and people should also learn lesson from them thier way of living
Bro flirted with and kissed a dead salmon
Casey, kissing a dead rotting fish at the end... really? Ugh. I will still go to your sanctuary whenever I am in MT.
What dog breed is usually bred with a wolf to create a wolfdog? Can you imagine breeding a huge Kangal with a huge wolf? That would be crazy!
Wolf dogs are basically wolves breed with gsd, Siberian/Alaskan huskies, malamutes, any dog that looks wolfy gets breed with a wolf and makes them wolf dogs but the percentage of wolf in the dog varies on the genes. Other breed of dogs aren’t desirable cause many pple want dogs that resemble wolves and that’s when u have to be careful cause u got halfbreeds that look like dogs but act more wolf and thats dangerous. Cause wolf dogs can’t be treated like pets high percentage ones can’t.
That would be awesome!!!! And somehow it gots the wolfs black coat gene too!? Can’t imagine owning something like that. Absolutely completely fearless from kangal athleticism of a wolf. Geeeshuuush
@@raptressreptile655In the wild I guess wolves sometimes mate with Coyotes and create a animal called a coywolf which some people say is more dangerous than a coyote and Wolf. Because coyotes are getting used to humans living in suburban areas so a coywolf might not be as afraid of humans and they also have the strength of a Wolf.
It would most likely have severe health problems. Stop cross breeding
@@ryancentnarowiczWolfote has a better ring to it
I've seen a few docs. about wolves and I never heard one bark. Maybe I'm wrong but myself I've never heard of it. They howl a lot.
My dog loves watching these
I raised my boy from day1 to year 5 and he is still teaching me
Great show
I kind of wish we had camp perimeter motion alarms that can warn you when something big is about to your camp
Love it! Upload more!
Sounded like you put my neighbors dog in the woods to make a show.
A wolf will be a wolf, it’s us invading their space and not the other way around…
Sound like a bark to me I thought wolves don't bark?
They don't. The first pack he showed on the beach was a pack of half breed dogs, the last pack that he howled at was a pack of wolves.
Bro as soon as u picked up the vertebrae in first scene..you needed to state "if a wolf was really hungry? It would of made a,meal out the bones"!! That's how fierce! !
Real threat is human against human.
Last scene.
Boy you ain't Right 😂
it's humans encroaching on the wolves habitat, not the other way around
Male wolfs are also very caring and nurturing to their females
I just love this guy! He’s so funny and makes good videos
I don't like documentaries where the narrator competes to be the star of the documentary, talking more about himself than the animals he's there to show us, and him or his face in front of the camera most of the time.
is he not scared????.......that voice of a wolf can make me quit my mission🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
he just really dont know the difference from a domesticated wolf and a non domesticated one a little
I’m waiting to hear him say “the wolves higher aggression is due to being near the den”. But, hey, I don’t know anything.😊
I had a wolf dog he was dangerous. In this vid the wolf dog tried to bite his neck. My wolf dog used to go to the legs when he attacked. He would trip me grab my leg pull me down. I'm just glad he never went for my neck. I had to keep him away from people except those in my immediate family. He could snap from dog to wolf in 2 seconds.
Excellent, incredible film!
Its really amazing. I always watch video. I love animals. Thank you for sharing this video 🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Anyone who doesn’t like this missed the entire point of it. Very informative.
I love how he tells every game camera and the animatronic Wolf good luck before leaving them out 🤣 you always can tell when someone has lost expensive gear to the “elements” in the past.
Lies again? Teddy Bear AMWF Car
Monster wolf just what we needed more propaganda against an animal that’s magnificent
I can't believe that I missed this.
When I was growing up we had three beautiful dogs. One was Danny Boy. The older one. He was cross husky German Shepherd. Then we got a second. Becky. Malemute crossed with a wolf. Then Dustin. Full bred malemute. All were very beautiful. Becky however could smell my fear of her when I was a kid. She was just a pup but a powerful one when we'd go out to play with her she'd grab me by the scruff of the neck of my thick winter coat and drag me around the yard. And shake me like a rag doll. I was scared shitless of her then she kinda laid off of me. But one night Becky and Dustin ganged up on Danny Boy. 😢 He was rushed to the vet. He was saved but we had to keep them separate after that. I believe it was because Becky's wild instinct kicked in and they had to get rid of the old dog in order to get more food. And also Becky would somehow get out of her gated area. Whether she jumped over we don't know. She went and attacked the neighbors chickens. He said if that happens again he'll have to shoot her. I was so heart broken. But I understand. All were both beautiful dogs. I was fortunate to have them in my life. ❤
Unfortunately, All of that sounds like a complete nuisance. There should be lethal laws against having UnKept Dogs & Children in public. Out of sight & out of mind or out of time.
I could literally watch this for hours on end. love your funny jokes !
Me too
It is absolute bs. This guy is acting out a fake story. Wolves do not bark.
I can see the dog in these wolves because of their body language. They were stalking the bear and a couple were just laying down like dogs. They also bark like dogs at times.
I ❤ this Doc ❤❤❤
Wolfdogs are getting very popular as pets. They sure shed a lot.
very cool video! love it
it's not the size of the dog in the fight it's the size of the fight in the dog
It's a wolf silly😄
Wow 🤩
Isn’t sad when you hear people say “Alaska is the last frontier”?
Wait till blud finds out about taxes🤣🤣😭🐕
That's a dog barking, not a wolf, in the beginning. No wolf on earth barks like that.
My favorite beast, the wolf!!!
Very very good ❤❤❤
Definitely one of the MOST AMAZING , INTERESTING documentary about wolf the guy is GREAT!!!
THANK YOU ,Great Job !!!
@joseregalado5504
You must be new to RUclips if you think this was so amazing. This is about wolf hybrids. Go find better videos about wolves in the search bar. You will learn more about real wolves.
Awesome doc. Very informative and respectful to be wolves and wolf dogs . Looking forward to the next one 🖤🐺
I know this happened in Alaska some time back.
" and some wolves are getting close.. too close... you mean like when you track and follow them and confront them .. yea no duh bro
Wild wolf attack on human..practically unheard of!..UNLESS ITS THE DOGMAN!!!!!
I HAD 2 HYBRIDS ONE WAS 75 PERCENT WOLF AND BECAME VERY AGGRESSIVE THE OTHER WAS 98 PERCENT AND NEVER GOT AGGRESSIVE. THEY WERE COMPLETLEY DIFFERENT BUT NEVER BECAME "PETS". I'D NEVER DO IT AGAIN AS I NOW BELIEVE CROSSING THEM IS PLAIN WRONG,
In Russia, there were super packs counting almost thousand individuals and it was recently!
This ended up being amazing! We found out very important information pertaining to wolfs and half wolf behavior.
amazing traits
Goes into territory known for over aggressive wolves. Doesn't carry a gun. SMH. Wow. Can't fix stupid. You just can't.
i like your awesome Beastmaster friend.
As soon as I heard this bark, I guessed it was a hybridization problem. Wolf dog hybrids. maybe with some coyote genes too, that lost their natural shyness. Dangerous.
I would like to see more “just wolves” documentaries from Nat Geo. This is ok with the human host but I’d like to see more wolves, less humans except the voice of the narrator. You just don’t see enough wolf documentaries
Good flim but I don't like the title of this film "Monster Wolf". Hopefully it means "giant" .They are actually very shy animals. I have never heard the wolf killed human. Human the one made them monster not the animal itself. We need to learn how to leave the nautre alone, let them take care of themselves.
natives track to by the warmth of the ground and paw tracks😂
That was so close😊
to mutch wolf in that combo lol
Wolves attacking humans are not unheard of. Documented wolf attacks have happened as far back as records go. Wolves are dangerous predators.
Never heard a wolf bark like a dog in my life, or is that a dog barking like a wolf?LOL
Love Casey Anderson. He's always so down to earth & very informative.
Right I love him too very knowledgeable person
Except that barking wasn't a wolf at all. Wolves don't bark and they definitely wouldn't bark at a human checking out prey. They would just run out and try to run him off.
Unless it was a dogman!!
After assisting national geographic film in the Arctic I have little belief in their stories...I used to watch and read everything they put out☹️
What’s important here is to make these wild wolves. Fear humans
This video is a testament to how little we know about canine behavior. iykyk.
those animals who were chasing that bear were making dog sounds
If the wolves don't have any dog dna... they are NOT hybrids... They're more aggressive because they're on an island where giving up territory isn't a viable survival option, and they know it... With no where to retreat to, and cubs to protect, attack mode gets triggered more readily
I love animal documentaries it’s all I watch are nature animal stuff books I love to read are about animals and dogs and cats Erin hunter warriors series is the best if you love cats even if it’s for children young adult it’s awesome read I highly recommend
A fellow warriors enthusiast
If anything IMHO these are wolf and wolf/hybrid, ie maybe Wolf/Husky. Wouldn't be unheard of.
Best beast.
Am I the only one who thinks this dude sounds just like stev-o
Where does one find such wimps for wolves? Begging a dog to get in on meal what bizzaro shoe is this
Yeah I'm waiting for the doc where the call from the woods was a joke
That doesn't sound like a typical wolf howl. It sounds more like the American Werewolf In London Werewolf!
Wolves know we are the most intense hunters on earth. It's sort of why some chose to submit to us or our proto-human ancestors the moment we came into the picture.
