I'm related to the Welsh Morgans. I was told by a fella in Scotland that the MacKays and Morgans traded among one another. And that they formed a stronger bond by having their daughters marry into their families, which was a common way back then to do so. I don't know if that's true or not? But from what I've researched Morgan is more of a name you find in Wales than in Scotland. Either way, I find it rather interesting. And another good video! Looking forward to more videos to be uploaded!
I have heard a few things about the name Morgan in reference to the Mackays as well. I am doing some studying for a Mackay Origins video and I will have to see if I can find more Morgan references out there. Thank you!
