Mines use to have 2 round fog lights in their the harness that powered old lights $$ wouldn't power drls I bought to replace ,,fogs ,,so I got power from side markers on bumper working good
What about 2013 cls550 I did the driver’s side from the outside but I’m on the passenger side and it won’t come out? Can anyone help
My passenger side DRL FLICKERS while the other one works perfectly fine ! I’ve replaced the DRL STRIP but the problem still remains ? Any idea ? Is there bad ballast or something in the circuit that may be the problem
Is it really necessary to took the wheel off?
Is it the same on driver side? I am working on my GLK 350 and it seems there is something on the way of accessing the DLR.
Thanks for the great video I replaced mine with the same ones. Do you know what I can do if the dashboard keeps mentioning that the daylight is broken. With my diagnose computer it says no coding? Thanks Frank
Great video. It's funny i've changed these lights so many times but i've always done it by removing the bottom front splash guard. This has its advantages I guess taking the tire off is the biggest deal. I may try this method next time as I wouldn't have to get under the car. Curious... one of these lights shorted out I believe and putting a new light in didn't fix it do you know if they are fused anywhere or does the left and right share a fuse?
That’s also good way to change them! Not sure but you could check that in the fuse diagram.
can you pl confirm me if i can remove my factory default foglamps and add these drls instead without alterations (plug and play ) Model year is E250 2010

Couldn’t you just take the front bumper off ? Or do you have to do this all just to replace the light ? Cause man I’m gonna have some work to do I have to replace my right light as well
Yess you could take the front bumper off I you wish doing it that way. But not sure if you save any time doing it that way.
My chrome strip got ripped. Can I remove the bumper from the outside?
Not really you need to disassemble the wheel covers anyway.

you can undo the surrounds of these from the front and just pull them out and unclip them.....no need to take any arches off literally take 20 seconds these like 2 Torx screws

Going to replace it with hockey stick DRL later need to order had to check how everything looked before 😆
I paid 1300 dollars for this at a shop never again🥴
If you not had any other service for that price is a complete rip-off. I could not even believe mb dealer would be close to that amount. More like 400$ ~ original light cost 200 new!

@@MB212 you very welcome, is actually to replace the switch to unlock and lock doors and the one to roll windows up and down. They should be inaide the panel you take off right ?
Yess should include to remove the plate with all rivets and some more it’s bit work with that never done it but pretty sure I seen video on that for W212.

Eddie Ramirez's video is the exact same car but he simply unscrews the 4 screws holding the DRL in place.
Please don’t share false info, that video is for a other mb model. Obviously I would do same if it was possible for W212!
That’s a totally different setup , with this Benz the only way is from behind while other come completely off from the front
