Sando does not represent South in terms of doubles. If you want good doubles in south u need to go Debe (drive past d doubles strip pls), Barrackpore & Penal for good doubles

I wouldn't call most doubles trash, from what I have tasted. It's mid. It's average. It's nothing like that one extraordinary one you tasted that became a core memory.

I do also like cucumbers n coconut chutney. Most places have okay channa and sauces. But the bara sucks most places. Either too oily (Darren doubles) too thick (Franks), too thin (most Sauce doubles). U hardly get a great bara. I can count on one hand.

My experience twice with them was that the doubles was not hot or warmish and i feel like that is a major factor for me. Maybe you got hot ones supplied for your party.
