  • Do you have flat feet? Or maybe you have a loss of arch height on one foot. A loss of arch height makes the foot "too" flexible. When you push off your forefoot as your walking- you want a rigid foot so that you don't lose this force propelling you forward. Flat feet= inefficient movement and a loss of energy. Try this exercise to help "bring back your arch"!

Subscribed. Question: what do you recommend in terms of a routine for this exercise? Reps or contractions for time? How many sets per session, sessions per day? Lastly, if done diligently, how much can a person's fallen arch improve with this exercise? Thank you for your work.

The goal would to take this from seated, to standing, to single leg standing, and continue to progress the dynamic strength of the foot. Hold for 5 secs and repeat 10-15 times. repeat a few times per day. If you have mobility restrictions in the great toe or ankle- then you should improve that first- or you'll have trouble building back an arch.
