No disrespect to your SR20 but this is a brutal rocket and it lets you drive it with a more destructive/competitive attitude. Cool.

They didn't become prevalent until the late 60s and became standard by the mid 70s. Before that we had bias ply tires, which are a whole different animal. Just look at old muscle cars as well as drag cars for examples.
