I got this for $25 with rebate from water company. Works great. I was told there used to be a paid subscription but now it's lifetime subscription for free. It also included the 2nd battery, and I get a discount on homeowner's insurance. I wasn't sure if I should keep the silica packet in it as it didn't say on the packaging but there is room for it in there. At any rate it is supposed to be IP67 rated. The silica packet does say do not eat or throw away, so maybe I'll put it back in.
You have your Flume upside down. At about the 4:20 mark you can see where it says "Bottom" and has the QR code that should be facing the ground. Possibly why you had trouble with calibration!
Looks like the test port was left open on your irrigation's backflow preventer. You can twist it shut with a flat head screwdriver and it'll stop the water flow.
I would read the instructions on how to properly install on the meter unless you changed how it's mounted. In the video its upside-down and not in parallel with the water line...
