I’ve been a big fan of Parker since the very first time I heard High Above The Water. I thought he was great however long ago that was, seems like forever ago, but he just keeps getting better. The first time I heard Misunderstood, it brought tears to my eyes because of how much I could relate. I don’t cry, ever. I’ve lost loved ones and best friends and didn’t cry. That’s how deep that song reached into my soul. This song here did the same thing. I’ve had one hell of a life to say the least. Ive been on top and had it all, and I’ve been at rock bottom without a pot to piss in. I’ve struggled back and forth with drug addiction the past 4 years after being clean for 12 years. The worst part is I’ve learned to maintain a what seems to be normal life. I have a good job, I work every day, eat, and sleep. To everyone but my wife, I’m perfectly fine. My demons are killing her, and they are slowly killing me. I’m not the same person. I struggle every single day. I love all of Parker’s music, but these songs just give me a few moments of peace when I hear them, and give me that sense that everything will work itself out one way or another. To anyone struggling with whatever demons they may have, just keep fighting the good fight one day at a time! God Bless

I feel this right here I too have been in these same shoes going on 2 1/2 years clean and sober and I am not the same person and it's killing me on the inside my Demons are trying to take over not knowing how much longer I can hold on this fight is the toughest by far.

Were you a wild child? The reason I ask is a lot of your songs are about drinking drugs kinda self destruction and I hope not! Because you have such a promising carer ahead of you! Your music can really help some that have problems, my husband did and he couldn't fight all his addictions I beg and beg him and my love wasn't enough to save him, that's I ask a personal question is its such a horrible life!
