This one hits different. Grew up in onalaska, tx. 3 stop lights, one grocery store. 48 people in my class and I'm one of 4 or 5 that left. Started chasing money all over the country. Met a girl from Houston and moved to kingwood 9 years ago. I would have never thought it would feel different coming home everytime and people would treat me different but the moment I left I was outside the bubble and didn't seem to belong anymore. So Parker you wrote a hell of a song on this one and to those who want to get out of a small town and chase a dream, never feel guilty for it.
Like i am Lithuanian and i left my country to save more money i am workin in Norway, and i have one big dream to get a green card and to live and work in Texas one day as a truck driver ! Dreams come true i know :)
I left my hometown in Washington to go live with my dad in Colorado a year ago since then everyone were I'm from quit talking to me so I feel you people change when your not around anymore

I put out a video about how much I love Parker’s music. And I’ll continue to listen to his music, just making an observation on the production. I prefer that authentic sound over a polished preset every time. ruclips.net/video/2v3AMxx-eEU/видео.html
Beyond the Row just because the production of their music got better, doesn’t mean they/or their sound changed. Its just well put together, mixed and produced well. His first two records especially limestone kid had that raw sound because he was a young artist and resource wise thats what he had access to. As an artist you dont want your music to sound unrefined and under produced forever. He can still rip the acoustic sets and that raw country tone as good as anyone but it has to be expected and appreciated that with more commercial success his music needs to continue to mature. This song is amazing love everything about it.
