So excited for this series! I have a ton of gel pens, can't wait to see all the neat things I can do with them! Going out this week to get the rest of the supplies
Just love all the styles and techniques I was afraid to try....Thank you! I still remember those notes and the Yes, No , or Maybe will you go out with me. Pick a box!!!! HAHA Good times.
Hi its Catherine Falls ! Great video!! Gosh I thought those notes where long gone & young ppl didn't do them anymore ! What a joy to know what an "art" I did as a young teen still goes 'round...but so your live video Friday night but will watch what you prepared 4 RUclips for anything I missed..just got some Luna Jayne gel pens, hope to be able to color a page! My left side is numb & I passed out Saturday night! Not good for a 65 year young woman 😖 guess doctor visit is in store for me this week 😖 tks Jennifer 4 all you sacrifice! It is appreciated ❤
How Fun is that to Blast from the past on ur old school, so much great memories Jennifer, and at this time the only things whe wan;t was Growing-up OMG! if i could re-live my life.......Anyway thank you so much Jennifer, see you on part 2 can't wait to see what whe would do lol!
I absolutely LOVE these gel pen videos. They are the easiest thing to color with because I have nerve damage in my neck that radiates down into my extremities and I can color a lot longer with gel pens than I can with pencils before my hands go numb. But I still use pencils for those designs that just scream "PENCILS!" and I'm wired in a way that makes it impossible for me to color (or do anything for that matter) with anything other than whatever medium I feel when I start a project. :)
Love those Gel Pens. Your tutorials have enhanced my coloring so much. Thank you for sharing what you've learned. I remember folding notes from my day as well. Thanks for the look back.
So informative and given in a way that is very easy to understand and excited to want to play and color. And then the note was a great blast from the past. I remember those fondly.
You remind me of my self with all the gel pens I love coloring with them my favorite . I am following and love your video ideas I’m sharing with my friends
I love gel pens I always use them to address envelopes and writing inside cards and other writing. I haven't bought any in along time. I haven't colored or painted with them. Looking forward to watching the rest in your series. I also receive your e-newsletter this is how I learned about your series.
I soooo love your videos...am so blessed to have found your channel...you are an excellent instructor and my inspiration...thank you for sharing your talents with us!!!....please keep them coming...comor happy💕
Im so overjoyed you did this wonderful series on gel pens as i have heaps of beautiful gel pens that i dont use much..i can't wait to try some of ur wonderful techniques you've shown us in this great series..thanx so much..x
Am loving this series! 💕 Thanks so much! You inspired me to go outside my comfort zone and I learned so much in doing so! I used your owl on a fence you offered last time, and some of the doodles you so generously offered this video. I hope my colorful owl flys a smile your way. 😁. Thanks again!
Jennifer: Thanks for all your wonderful coloring tips and techniques! I am fairly new to adult coloring and have been benefiting so much from the great information in your videos!
I've now watched all 8 videos in this series, now all I need to do is collect a few things and see if I can put my new found knowlege to work, thank you Jennifer
I am! I started coloring with gel pens and only recently tried pencils, the Prismacolor which you seem rather fond of. Got a set of 72 and as yet haven't used them. I did however take the tip and buy some glycerin, and managed to get a very strange look as the drug store only had liquid glycerin in 2 forms, capsules and suppositories, the funny look came when I said I wasn't buying them for the "designed purpose" the nice lady said "I don't want to know" followed by the funny look *smile*
Gosh, those notes bring back TONS of memories!!! There are soooo many different ways to fold them and I've forgotten most of them. Do you remember any other ways you could share for us "over the hill" folks? LOL! I look forward to learning more from your video series.
In high school I would always draw (I still do. Im better at it now) and these were exactly what I used to color with. So easy to go between coloring my art and my school notes. Now I'm 20 and I still have a bunch of pens
I'm absolutely addicted to gel pens. I'm going to buy some on the first from Amazon I heard there is a pack of 100 gel pens for $20.00 at Costco I'm not sure if the still have them there but I'm definitely going to go see if they still have them
+sarahmoon60, I did a lot of testing on different papers before filming this series. I found that a little texture helps when you are mixing your art tools with your gel pens, but a smooth paper can help when you want a good smear. So...it depends on the situation.
Love the blast from the past on our old school "Social media" from back in the day, great memories.
Can't wait to learn all the fun things we can do with our beloved gel pens! I remember those notes too!! :) Thanks Jennifer and Steve!

Alway a job well done
You've earned a new sub :)
You did a video on paper for colored pencils, will you be doing one for gel pens? Do you want vellum or smooth for gel pens?
+sarahmoon60, I did a lot of testing on different papers before filming this series. I found that a little texture helps when you are mixing your art tools with your gel pens, but a smooth paper can help when you want a good smear. So...it depends on the situation.
So many pens!
