also I forgot to cover it in the video but the opening is fantastic, watched it every episode until about halfway through and that's big for me
Bad take. Ok, you dont like it. Thats fine, but given that every anime and its premise can be considered stupid its dumb on your end to point that out on the animes you dont like instead of all anime in general. The fact that this show was received as well as most top tier anime is proof enough that the audience enjoyed it. If you also actually watched the anime above surface level you'd see that you missed a lot of what it has to offer. Imagine watching One Piece but youre like "Luffy is just dumb, and the art is not my style, therefore its bad".
My guy the plot was barely even there. First off the setting feels so freaking empty, having a literal ghost town as a setting is terrible lbs you occasionally see people only when delinquents are attacking. The characters are one of the most blandest, generic, uninteresting anime characters I’ve ever seen in anime. The only saving grace this show had was it’s animation which to be fair was excellent but still couldn’t save the show. How is a show about delinquents this soft???? One of the corniest delinquent animes ever. People compare it to Tokyo revengers but at least they had the balls to make a delinquent anime actually edgy like it’s supposed to be
not gonna lie when i was told about this anime i knew i wasnt gonna care for it. i dropped it by the time they got to the theater and was fighting. i was so bored that i couldnt bother anymore. dont hate form your own opinion

I disagree with your assessment of Wind Breaker, there is more to the show than fighting. I was initially drawn to this anime for the fights, but I stayed for the characters, character development, and story line. Nirei is a very well written character, he's joins Bofurin, not because he is a delinquent or a fighter, but out of admiration for them and what they do for the town as well as a genuine desire to help the towns people and his friends. He's set up as a polar opposite of Sakura, who joined out of purely selfish desires. He's a smart dude with crazy good memory for detail and he commits to using that so he can help Sakura climb the rankings. He memorizes the entire Bofurin roster in one night when Sakura becomes class rep, he acknowledges he's a weak fighter and he can't be useful in a fight so he's committed to helping in the ways that he can. Sakura has developed immensely since starting at Bofurin, he went from someone who avoided friendships and relations due to a machoistic belief he needed no one to the realization that he needed Nirei and Suo to help him lead the class as well as him feeling an obligation to his classmates who are relying on him after asking Kaji Ren about his motivations for being class rep.

@@MoePointOh I think he's a bit better towards the end of the season, but not enough to make up for how annoying he was in ep 2 and 3. I think it's a coin toss how they handle him next season
@@Celerius ya that’s the point, he starts off as a bad person and develops and grows as a person. He’s not meant to be likable at first.
