Thank you so much I'm glad you enjoy them and I appreciate your comment. I enjoy doing this...the editing process is fun too b/c I get to relive the experience all over again. Happy to share with you!
Hi from Virginia Beach. Wow that pear whelk was a stunner and my eyes were so pleased in all the colors , the green mussel is so beautiful and those scallops stand for themselves. Great fun moment I bet the kids loved the late afternoon on the beach. Thankyou for sharing.
Hello! Thank you so much for watching. Crazy pretty pear right!? 😊 Yes, my kids really enjoy the beach especially my son…he has ADHD and it’s such a good outlet for him ❤
Hello Roxanne, glad to see you made it to another east coast Florida beach. A little info for you. The quahog without the purple (wampum) colour is a southern one, the ones with the purple/wampum colour are northern quahogs. There are many things that are done with the colourful ones. Blessings
Thanks for the info and watching; I'll make a note of that in my shelling book! Yeah I was reading about a tribe that still uses wampum for beads...so creative ❤️ Blessings always!
Thx for confirming those. I wasn’t sure if those shark eyes were “blue” enough to be considered “Paul Newmans” or not 👍🏼 Thank you for watching. -Roxann
Awww thx for watching and subscribing! Thank you for the encouragement and compliment-I think the opposite wishing my hands were a little bit slimmer…but oh well, very blessed God has provided me with 2 hands that work 100% 👍🏼
My second comment and decided to subscribe. Love the big pear whelk and blue mussel. Have a big barnacle like yours in mt collection. I have shells from all over the world. TRUDY
Aww Trudy yes, I replied to that comment also 😊 Thank you for subscribing! Lots of fun walks coming up 👍🏼 What a treasure to have shells from all over the world! Amazing ❤ -Roxann
Hello from California! I love shelling here on the CA coast but we don't have anything near to what Florida has. I want to come there so bad. Thanks for sharing
I hope you have the chance one day. All over Florida is nice for shelling, each ocean front area/county has it's own array of shells to find. Happy shelling in CA...that sounds awesome!
They absolutely do and thank God Florida in all the years of this states history and centuries of shelling there has never been a shortage of shells. Our national parks are protected and the hermits are thriving :-)
Could the mystery shell be a Burnt Edge Rock Snail? I just watched Sand and Coffee rocks video Finding Seashells at Hervey Bay from today and at about the 10.30 mark she finds a shell that could be like the worn shell you found. Just a guess. I'm a new subscriber and thank you for sharing your shelling.
Thx I having viewed her video from today yet but I sure will (I LOVE her channel). Thx for a name I'll look into it 👍🏼 Thank you SO much for subscribing--I really appreciate that and thx for watching!
Haha, calling those waves “rough” made me chuckle. The open beaches here are at least several times that rough and choppy on an average day 😅 still, they bring the shells ashore, so what else can you ask for? Loved the Pear Whelk and Green Mussel.
😂 I should have been more clear lol. I was comparing our east coast and west coast of “Florida”. The west coast is typically very calm and the east coast is rougher. I’ve seen it raging after hurricanes so I can only imagine what you see over your way. Such powerful waters! Thx for watching 😊
@@FloridaBeachWalksHello, I do not know if you know Sand and Coffee Rocks Maddie. She is in Australia. She has 2 videos weekly. Just saw your video. She and I are good friends. Keep up the good work. Never heard if your beach. Trudy in PA. I am a collector of rare, exotic, International seashells. I have lots of Florida shells too.
@@trudymcewen9801 Hello Trudy! Thanks so much for watching. I don't know Maddie personally but have been really enjoying her videos for the past couple months after happening upon them here on RUclips and have been chatting time to time on video posts w/her. I really enjoy her content and have dreams of one day going to Australia to shell! All her finds are so amazing and I love all the cowries--incredible! I've been enjoying Shellcade Shelling Down Under's channel as well in Australia. Happy collecting Trudy 😀
