That stunning flat makes up for the junonia "core!" You need to frame that find or find some creative way to display it. I think those little holes are a natural feature of the shell -- they seem too regularly spaced to be just holes. i loved that really sculptural oyster shell and tube worm cluster, hope you kept it. You had a fantastic shelling day. Thank you for another great video! I appreciate your giving some time to the critters on the beach, too -- that scuttling little crab, the tiny fish, the live molluscs, all such fun to see! I enjoyed your arrangement of shells at the end, too. You have an artist's eye! Have a beautiful Thanksgiving.

I would love to goo shelling on the beach! I live in Central Florida and can't go. Every time I try to go I end up "crispy critter" 15 min with #50 sunscreen and I'm burnt. Ive had sun poisoning 3 times. Last time I tried a tent but had difficulty with continually moving it down the beach.

Did you drsw the birds on the flat scallop or did you find it like that ?😊

Wow, Kice Island sure has plenty of shells to show off! I really loved those Fighting Conches with the Chevron patterns; super lovely! Also enjoyed seeing all of the unusual favourites as well, especially the Murexes, Cones and Olives. Ahhh, don't be too upset about the missed J; I think you have much nicer ones at home 😅 I know that's only a small comfort though! I always say; it's amazing what you eyes land on...or don't land on! I have the same thing happen with missed shells, feels horrible but it happens to all of us. At least if that J was in that bad of condition, it's not the worst case scenario. I'm sure you'll get a perfect one sooner or later, they seem to be a marginally easier find in the 10K area as compared to anywhere else in FL. That flat scallop is like the most insane one I've seen anyone find, It cleaned up so nice! Happy shelling!

Do you remember which causeway on the Banana River you stopped at for this video? I’ve been trying different spots on several of the causeways to find treasures in the river but none were near as productive as this trip! Also, I have found multiple wentletraps at Canova Beach at the end of Eau Gallie Causeway. I often find them when there are shell piles.

Please tell me you wear a mask when filing shells…you do not want to inhale the dust!
