- Looking for scrapbooking inspiration, tips and ideas? I have many layouts, both single and double 12x12 scrapbook pages to share all created in 2021. Most of these layouts are created with gorgeous products from Close to My Heart. Before I organize all these layouts into their permanent albums I thought it would be fun to show them all to you. I wish close to my heart would have postbound 8.5x11. It’s the size I love to scrapbook in.

I’m not feeling well currently and these nice long videos are so nice while I just lay here! Gave me some ideas when I’m ready to create again.

That is exactly what I do with my pages, except I do try to finish 1 year every year even though I jump around a little. I love the post bound albums.

Always love all of the layouts you create Erin! I'm glad I'm not the only one who jumps all around in years and dates when scrapbooking. I have papers that match my photos. When I find a collection I love to buy the entire line.

Your layouts are so lovely!! Thanks for the inspiration. I also scrapbook whatever inspires me, and then transfer to the proper year album! It's a great tip to do it that way because before I started that, I always felt "behind" and unorganized with the chronological order of events. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

Your design aesthetic is really outstanding! Have you ever considered going outside the CTMH umbrella? I think you’d be really successful designing for the bigger scrapbooking community.

Hi Erin! Thank you for sharing your layouts. I am also a fan of post bound albums and how they lay when looking through them. I'm curious if you're able to fit everything into one album or if you have to divide a year into two albums?
Hello there. I try to have one album for each year but some do spill over into a second album. It helps to give big vacations their own album.
I have so much to learn! I’ve been scrapbooking for 30 years on and off (more off). I got into card making instead, but I’d like to get back to scrapbooking, and I love your videos. Your voice is quite soothing, and your suggestions come across so gently. I have no computer so I work through the old-fashioned mail. How do I join your group? Where do I find your address?

I love all your layouts. How do you pick which color of paper for your photos? Is it by color that is in the photos or the color of the embellishments you use for your page?
Hello and thank you. That is a great question. The colors in the photo are my primary source for color inspiration and then I will add in other colors to compliment the color scheme.
