The beautiful thing about the game's difficulty, is that it makes you feel like a god anytime you overcome it. I'm not sure if any game has given me as much euphoria as Dark Souls.

I just finished DSR for the first time yesterday didn't know Pekora had started playing it, too bad was not able to make it live and she was already closing the stream, but boy watching the VOD gave me intense flashbacks after flashback that my hands started moving while watching her tackle every enemy. Great times lol;

The difficulty is overstated. It's challenging, but not that hard. Most of what people attribute to difficulty is really just the game heavily punishing mistakes.
@tadferd4340 That is difficulty. You could beat any game if you make 0 mistakes. That's what makes a game that heavily punishes every little mistake a hard game.
Dark Souls isn't all that difficult. Not easy, don't get me wrong. But not as hard as people make it out to be. It can be fun to play once you get over the weird control scheme.
But there are reasons to stay far away. Non-existent story, obtuse unexplained game mechanics, and zero explanation of what you are supposed to do or why.

Going from Elden Ring back to DS1 was such a painful experience. I forgot how clunky and slow DS1 is.

She played Elden Ring
She tried DS1 off stream before Hololive, she tried Sekiro once near her debut but we had to wait more than a year for her to restart then finish the game, and she played Elden Ring but stopped midway through, both because they had momentarily lost their perms at that time, and also because she was busy with a few other things. She did retry Sekiro up to the very beginning so I'm sure she'll retry Elden Ring again.
