It's winter in Alberta. The weather couldn't be relied on to be safe for play. Ended up being fine but easily could have been -20 and that's not feasible.

Cavalry actually did good for a new club within a new league. Lot of fight in them despite the disappointing defeat. Theirs potential.
Concacaf champions cup isn’t a new tournament. It’s just been rebranded and the format has been changed
